This is a fantastic remote! I have a 2020 Samsung Smart TV which came with an absolutely awful, clunky, and no good remote - you would need to be a marksman to aim it just right. But this remote has excellent range, responds very fast, and you can map over all the essential buttons using the learning feature which I found to be the easiest way to have it work right (as opposed to using the default codes). The remote has a very nice backlit button feature and the batteries give it a premium feeling weightiness, which I like. I copied over the Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons - they work just great. However, it's only flaw is that when you custom pick the other buttons (like to try and get YouTube / NowTV etc) as quick buttons, it just remembers the sequence and clicks through for you every time. It doesn't work the same as the usual quick buttons, and that's just on Samsung in terms of programming. I just use this remote with my TV... not as a 'universal remote' so can't speak to the alleged issues with Apple TV and so on. But, if you want a high quality and sleek replacement to the terrible stock remote that comes with loads of the Samsung Smart TV's - then this is the PERFECT solution to that issue.

The remote looks and feels good quality, has a nice interface and all the buttons you could need. One MAJOR flaw, it is not fully compatible with the LG C2 no matter what I did to get the rest of the buttons programmed. It would not work. I could turn on my TV, put the volume up and down, mute and finally bring up the source function. Directional buttons nonexistent. What a waste of money and time.

I really like this remote, I got it for an older person that was struggling between a two different remotes, and a fiddly small remote for the Apple TV box. He now finds it much easier to use and manage between devices. SETUP: easy enough in principle - the set-top box code worked first go, but the TV wasn't supported by a quick code, and I had to program every function manually - surprising as it was a Sony, albeit an older LCD model. I programmed in a macro to switch inputs, something my father-in-law was struggling with, which was easy and has been very reliable so far. FUNCTIONS: with just a TV and streamer box, this worked perfectly. It also supports a sound bar - but that's it. If you've more devices, look elsewhere. All the buttons are programable, so there is actually a lot of flexibility for basic remote. The Netflix and other buttons are very useful, and were easy to set up. The Apple TV works with it very well. THE GOOD: the instructs are pretty good, it took me about 30min in total to get it set up, even with the manual programming for the TV and the macro setup. It's small but not too small, with positive buttons, and the 4 AAA batteries give it a reasonable amount of weight. In use the design makes it great for people that need something simple. DOWNSIDES: 2 devices plus a sound bar is pretty limited for most people, but with a lot of folks just using a smart TV or a TV plus streamer, this makes for a useful extra remote. Even though it says easy setup, you still need a reasonable amount of ability to do follow the instructions and do a macro if needed. Also, you can't teach it if you've lost your original remote, so you really do need the codes to work then. Also, it doesn't come batteries, so remember to order some of those too if you don't have 4 AAA ready to go. Finally, there is no number keypad, so if you watch channels a long way apart you're in for a lot of scrolling! All-in-all, if the TV codes had worked and it came with batteries I'd given it 5 stars. Nice little remote.

This is a terrific replacement remote for my Apple TV. I previously tried another cheap option but it wasn't the best - the buttons were difficult to press and I still had to use the TV remote for the volume. I knew that before ordering but I didn't appreciate the hassle of two remotes 😊 This one does the job perfectly. TV volume plus Apple TV control in one. I also really appreciate the programmable custom buttons. As well as Netflix and Prime, I've set one up for Plex and another for Discovery+. I got this a bit cheaper during the Prime event but I'd say it's also worth the usual full price.

So first the customer service for this product are great but after not being able to get this to work and contacting them for a solution it turns out that this 100% compatible remote is not 100% after all reason being the code I need to load can not be used as its not in the UCR database? I need to get the UCR 7955 which is also 1005 compatible. The reason for getting this one was I wanted the backlight as the crappy Sony ones do not have this feature that and buttons are way to small. In order to sort this I would need to return this and pay the difference for upgrade. not happening. why did they not simply make one good remote with backlight, give it a big enough memory bank for upgrade. manual option also did not work. I was going to give this a 1 star but decided on a 3 simply because as much as I am frustrated over this remote and the fact that a little more though could have been put into making it more compatible costumer services are really helpful (other than the return option.) at least they are trying to make things right. why the big companies are not doing backlight though beats me.

Was looking for a simple and compact remote without too many buttons. Just needed it for basic functionality for my TV and Soundbar. The provided codes worked straight away, but I missed the power toggle function of the sound system. With this remote you can simply 'learn' the correct function by copying the IR sequence from the old remote and assigning it to a button of choise. This worked like a charm. The remote itself feels sturdy and I like the feel of the buttons. Very pleased with the purchase.

I soldi che costa li vale tutti. Veramente fantastico, fatto molto bene, sia di estetica, che di materiali e personalizzabile al 100% Averlo acquistato prima! Ho un tv samsung serie 7 55" e come tutti i telecomandi samsung anche il mio fa pietà, troppi tasti, piccoli e tutti attaccati, e quando devi premere per qualsiasi cosa, devi sfondare il tasto per farlo andare. Ma con questo stupendo telecomando ora non mi viene più il nervoso. Straconsigliato.

Fastest setup of a remote ever. I simply had to do 2 different setup key presses. First for our Toshiba Fire TV and the second for the streaming box Roku (ours are the premier and premiere + Roku streaming players). It switches between the fire tv and Roku input seamlessly. The volume control for the TV works when using the Roku.

Good bye Siri remote hello One for all. This is a great little remote and works well. I can’t fast forward with one of the Australian Apps Binge but fine with the other streaming apps Netflix, Stan, Disney, Amazon and Apple TV.

Mittlerweile haben sich durch TV, Fire TV-Stick und Stereoanlage bei mir 3 Fernbedienungen angesammelt die allesamt immer um Platz auf meinem kleinen Nachttischchen ringen. Ich wollte diese durch eine halbwegs minimalistische, aufs notwendigste reduzierte Universalfernbedienung ersetzen. Wichtig ist hierbei bei der Programmierung die mitgelieferte Beschreibung zu lesen. Ohne findet man sich einfach nicht zurecht, da die Funktionen der kompakten Fernbedienung sehr umfangreich sind. Zuvor müssen aber noch 4x AAA Batterien eingelegt werden, welche leider nicht mitgeliefert werden. Danach konnte ich aber alle Tasten anlernen. Zum Anlernen der Tasten mittels Fire TV-Stick muss ich sagen, dass ich es nicht geschafft habe diese 1:1 zu übernehmen, da der Fire TV-Stick nicht über ein Infrarot Signal mit der Fire TV Fernbedienung kommuniziert sondern vermutlich durch Bluetooth oder WLAN. Über einen Umweg ist dies aber trotzdem möglich, denn ich hatte das Glück, dass mein TV beim Umschalten auf den Fire TV-Stick Eingang die Tasten der TV-Fernbedienung so umstellt, dass auch der Fire TV-Stick mit dieser bedient werden kann. Somit konnte ich die Funktionen meiner TV-Fernbedienung wieder an die Universalfernbedienung anlernen und nun auch meinen Fire TV-Stick in vollem Umfang nutzen. Diese Funktion sollten meines Wissens nach fast alle halbwegs aktuellen Flachbild TV-Geräte unterstützen. Einfach ausprobieren. Alles in Allem konnte ich meine 3 Fernbedienungen durch diese kompakte und übersichtliche Universalfernbedienung ersetzen und bin nun wirklich sehr zufrieden. Auch wegen der schönen Tastenbeleuchtung und dem hübschen, farblich anpassbaren LED-Ring bin ich sehr angetan. Daher kann ich das Produkt sehr empfehlen!
