I’ve been using the JBL FLIP 5 for a few months now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers in its price range. It is sleek and rugged, with a sturdy build that feels durable and high quality. It’s compact enough to throw in a backpack, making it ideal for everything from beach trips to backyard BBQs.The sound quality is impressive for a speaker this size. The bass is deep without being overpowering, and the mids and highs come through crisp and clear.One of the best features is the IPX7 waterproof rating. I’ve taken it poolside, to the lake, with no issues at all.The battery life is another win. JBL advertises up to 12 hours of playtime, and it easily hits that mark on a full charge. This is a great speaker. Great sound quality and volume. Very compact and portable. If you’re looking to use for a big house party, I’d go bigger, but this is perfect for the day to day use. Been working around the house for a few days with it now and it’s been perfect. Small enough to fit in a backpack without sacrificing too much space.Any issues I’ll update here.

Really awesome inexpensive speaker. I’ve had this thing for almost a year and it still looks brand new. Waterproof is amazing!!! I love having this thing in the shower or at the pool and I’m never worried about it. Sound quality is amazing and battery life is very long I can go days without charging it. Definitely recommend this speaker.

This speaker is awesome. Sounds great and has more bass than I thought it would. Simple to use and easy charging. Long lasting battery.

These JBL speakers sound amazing for their size and are fairly priced. We use them in multiple locations including by our pool, in a dance studio, and in a home gym. Excellent for the pool given the water resistance and big bass sound. You can also link multiple speakers to fill a larger space. I like Bose speakers also, but I ALWAYS have connection problems with their wireless speakers and ear buds and they try to also make you use their app which has been glitchy for years. The beauty of the JBL, in addition to the premium sound, is the simplicity and super reliable Bluetooth connection. The fact that the link button always works and I'm not frustrated trying to connect to the speaker puts it far above the Bose products in my opinion.

This speaker gives off great sound for a small speaker. Battery life is good. No flat spot on the body so it has to stand on end or it will roll off the desk, counter, or dresser. I just had to purchase a stand so it doesn't roll off the desk anymore.

Small speaker thats very loud and good sound and vibrations that you want from a speaker. It's good value for the money. No complaints at all. And doesn't require any apps.
