Sony UPB-X700 4K Blu Ray Player Ultra HD 3D Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Blu-ray Player with A 4K HDMI Cable and Remote Control (UPB X700)

This is a terrific little player and great value. It flawlessly plays every DVD and Blu Ray but also does a terrific job with SACD and other less common formats. Works seamlessly with the Sony receiver and TV. The only drawback is that there is one and only one output: HDMI. I wish it also had a coax output for audio.

Who knew all we needed to do was purchase a new blu ray player. We struggled with the old one for months. Once we got this one, it was like night and day. Almost like we're right there. Excellent picture quality for the money.

Great quality picture! Disc loads a lot faster than my previous Blu-Ray. I love that it’s 4K, with the latest innovations in HDR and sound capabilities! Great smart features- not too many, and just the right ones. It took a long to time to connect to my wireless network. Sony said it was a problem with my brand new mesh network- not really sure. In any case, I’m very happy with this purchase!

Stopped playing ANY discs after 8 months. Warranty from Sony is one year, but they won't honor it. Amazon won't address it at all and make it impossible to get customer service on it after a certain amount of time, even if I am sitting here with an in-warranty item. I contacted Sony. First Sony told me that I needed to contact a store that sold it through Amazon (The Tudak Store). The Tudak Store said that Sony should honor the warranty. Sony called me up and told me to get hold of Amazon. There is no way to get hold of Amazon, so I'm out about $250 for a player that should be able to be repaired or replaced but everyone has managed to point fingers at everyone else and avoid responsibility. Don't buy this item.NOTE: Amazon has messed up the item number and transposed the "B" and the "P". It should be UBP-X700, not UPB. I have finally found out, after talking to a Sony representative, that there is a reason why Sony disputed that this was a Sony product. Amazon got the product number wrong. I am currently getting a replacement from Amazon. Once this arrives, hopefully Amazon will change the product number and everyone will know what everyone else is talking about.

Works very well and has the apps I would use most. The headphones are not as sturdy and were broken when I opened the package but I didn’t buy it for the headphones.

Works as a DVD/Blu ray player, but most of the apps does not load/play.

One of the best in its price range and great product in general. Super easy to set up and use. Excellent remote, great picture and sound. Highly recommended!!!

This is a great blu-ray. I also have a Sony tv, so once connected, setup was done automatically.Updates were done automatically, and the smart functions work great.The picture coming from 4k blu-ray disc's are absolutely amazing!
