worked just as intended
not sure what happened with the others guys part that made him this part 1 star. worked just perfect for my XJ. i have a 3" RC lift with 31" tires so i was running just about 6 mph over the limit when traveling at 60 mph. this calibrated my speedometer just as expected and i could never be happier. now i can figure out when to do my oil changes without the math. Quick and easy install, took my about 20 min (followed a youtube video). i purchased the gasket for this, but didnt bother installing it, although i may regret that later. so far no leaks though. all in all, i recommend this product to anyone who wants there speedo to be calibrated correctly.

A must
An easy fix for bigger tires or gear swaps

Again with the thickness?
So I had a set of 4.10 gears installed in the rear end of my Dajiban. The speedo was, as one would expect, wildly inaccurate after that. I consulted the intergoogles and discovered I needed to swap my 34 tooth pinion for a 39 tooth pinion. So I ordered it. Of course it arrived on a rainy, cold, miserable day, but I couldn't wait. I crawled under the van with a 13mm wrench, cursed the guy who told me I needed a 13mm wrench, found the correct bolt, un-cursed him, removed the old pinion, popped the new pinion in, and bolted it all back together. All in, fifteen minutes "work" to install. I took a hoon up onto the freeway and the odometer clicked exactly the same tenth at every mile marker for about five miles. The accuracy is astounding! So, if you need a speedometer pinion for a Dodge, this one is a good choice... well, I mean, you need to figure out YOUR tooth count needs, but once you do, this is a good choice. Sort of thing.

Fixed my issue
Make sure you look at that chart before you buy. This fixed my issue with my speedometer so very satisfied with it.

Used with 3.55 gears and 31" tires.
Ordered this for my '98 Jeep XJ with the 242 Xfer case. Fit fine. Plenty of YT vids to walk you through it. Not difficult. If you install and the speedo doesn't work, you probably just need to "clock" it appropriately and tighten it down again. My speed is now 1-2 MPG slower than indicated and the odo and info center are now kinda useful again.
