Wilderness Poets, Raw Macadamia Nut Butter - Keto, Vegan, No Salt (8 Ounce) - Glass Jar

Remarkably delicious and I'd say worth the price - it's truly delectable. I ordered this macadamia butter because I have kidney disease and they say it's better for people like me. I love it.

Due to their lipid profile, macadamia nuts are the healthiest of the nut family. So, my household is crazy for them! Unfortunately, they're not exactly economical. So, when I spend this much $$ on a little 8-oz jar of nut butter, it *better* be good. To avert taste/texture disappointment, I bought a tiny 2-oz. single-serving container of the same brand & product at a local natural foods store. The product inside the jar I ordered on Amazon arrived identical to the single-serving I'd purchased. I agree with another review: it is a bit gritty, but I don't mind that. I mean, it's not gritty like sand. It's not the texture of smooth peanut butter, nor the texture of crunchy peanut butter. It's somewhere in-between. It's also more fluid than peanut butter or even almond butter. That is likely due to its higher (but better!) fat content. As a result, it doesn't "spread" very easily. That doesn't stop me from eating it with carrot or celery sticks as a snack, but it just doesn't coat the way that the aforementioned nut butters do. For me, this isn't an issue. I buy it because it's healthy for my family, and we could easily eat it straight off the spoon (I vehemently deny any accusation that I've done that...wink, wink). It tastes very fresh, and has a natural mild sweetness that's fantastic.Given the price, I likely won't be buying this on a regular basis. Compared to regular macadamia nuts at my local natural foods store, this is a luxury item. However, knowing how expensive the ingredient is and how high quality the product tastes, I feel it is a good value. So, when I feel like a nut-butter-and-jelly sandwich, this won't be my go-to, but it's a nice little splurge to have every once in a while.FYI, the jar indicates that the only ingredient is "organic, raw macadamia nuts." Based upon another review, I'm not sure if the manufacturer has changed formulas recently, but I just received my jar 2 days before writing this review.

I have histamine intolerance and I have been missing peanut butter so much! I read that macadamia nut butter was the safest replacement and after much research settled on this brand! It arrived in two days and since I live in Florida it was pretty warm by the time I got home to it. It was wrapped very thoughtfully as the jar is glass, I opened it and loved the smell! Although it’s nowhere near as sweet as peanut or almond butter the texture is awesome; somewhere between crunchy and smooth, I added about a tablespoon of honey to sweeten it, it was very easy to stir after sitting in the sun and it tastes absolutely amazing with the honey added in. I keep it stored in the fridge and it’s very easy to add onto bread using the back of a spoon! I love to have it on toast with blueberry chia jam! We now have it on the every 6 weeks subscribe. Try it, you won’t be disappointed !

I've bought the small size a few times now, and just now bought the four pound jar. I already knew that macadamia nuts were the healthiest nuts you can eat due to the amount of healthy fats and more specifically the ratio of Omega 3's to Omega 6's. This stuff is great! For me, it's the perfect consistency, not perfectly smooth, but also not crunchy or gritty as some people have strangely described it. You can use it for so many things, but I like to replace what I used to use peanut butter on like celery sticks. I'm looking forward to finding new uses, but it IS pricey to experiment with. Overall, love it! I'll be buying this for a long time to come.

I liked this product, but I wasn't wild about it. Pretty bland.

I was bewildered to see all the positive reviews on this macadamia nut butter. Makes me wonder if I don’t have the discerning palate I thought? I haven’t eaten peanut butter in many years because I had switched to almond butter because I was told it’s healthier. Wasn’t wild about it, and then I found cashew butter which to me is decadent and so much better than any other ones I had tried. I love macadamia nuts and know they are good for us so when I found this I snapped it up thinking it would be even more special and delicious. Well I was dead wrong! Not only is it more expensive but what a bland taste and repelling texture! I just don’t want anyone else who likes the nut to think this butter tastes like it or that the texture is smooth and creamy! The texture is horrible. I can’t even describe it. Maybe it’s just me, but if any of you like the cashew butter, I don’t think you will like this. Just my opinion!Priscilla Hall

Best tasting nut butter ever. This company has produced the finest products in nut butters for me. They are local company being situated in Oregon. I cannot begin to tell you how delicious this macadamia butter is.
