Effective, but I seriously doubt the durability though
Purchased in September '18, it's now been not quite five months.I wanted to use it to spray insecticide and herbicides around my house, and wash my truck, so it's now been used 3 fairly brief times. It worked very well for me, light, maneuverable, and with the shutoff right at the male end, you can swap attachments with ease. One thing to note is that if you have a backflow preventer/vacuum breaker on your spigot, you need a shutoff at the female hose end, too, or the hose will drain (and shrink! If your not careful it can catch on things!) every time you turn off the faucet.I grabbed it for the fourth usage, to find that the strain relief rubber at the male end of the hose had detached from the brass, and discovered 2 (fairly minor) leaks. It's been stored inside between uses, and I make sure to keep it away from sharp/hot/pinching things, and to keep the property thorn-free, so I can't imagine why it's already leaking from the middle of the hose.I know it's probably just a matter of time until the hose breaks free of the male brass end, I just hope it's a warm day to get drenched. So, great plan, mediocre quality.

Hose is great, sprayer nozzle is cruddy
My first expandable hose broke so quickly I swore off the concept. I'm glad I tried again. I've had one of these for a year and just bought another. It doesn't kink like regular hoses and the connections don't leak. It's great to have such long reach through my garden without the hose taking up much space when not in use. The only annoying thing about expandable hoses is waiting for them to finish emptying/scrunching back up after you turn off the spigot. The included hose nozzle is worthless though--it has bad water pressure and is made of cheap, easily breakable materials. This hose, with a better nozzle purchased elsewhere, has yielded happier gardening for me!

Best one yet
Have this hose for about two weeks now. So far, working good. I have bought several from different companies and couple have sprung leaks. Some take a long time to drain the hose after turning off water. This one seems good. Drains fast and the nozzle is solid. This hose looks durable. Even at a 100 ft, when it's not in use it doesn't take up much room when storing. That's what I love about these hoses. When not in use, they take up very little space and can be wrapped or rolled any way you like. I hope it lasts. We'll see.April 2019 - Thought I’d provide an update. So far, so good. This hose is good. The material of the hose itself is strong and durable. The nozzle fittings are brass (or some type of hard metal). Sprayer continues to work. Overall, very satisifed with this hose. As I said, this is still the best yet and I’ve purchased several. Worst was the one from HD, the big box store. That one didn’t last 2 weeks.

Hose good, nozzle crap
The hose is pretty good. It does what it says and I like the ability to cut off the water at the end of the hose as opposed to at the source, especially if I realize there is something I missed and don’t want a river following me as I go back to water something. The other half of the product, the nozzle, gets no stars. I used this for a little less than a month for about 4 uses, and now water gushes out of the area where the two plastic parts of the handle meet! It had some nice features, but the nozzle is pure crap when it comes to workmanship and durability!

Sprung a leak after 8 months
I loved this hose until today. I was watering my flowers and felt water on my leg. Looked down and a stream of water was coming out of the center. Finished what I was doing with low flow. I’ve only had it 8 months and no warranty. I should have know it would happen since this is my second one but there so much easier to handle.

Burnt twice....
This was my second purchase in as many years. Both have sprung a leak. On the first occasion I chalked up to my neglect. However I took care with the second hose, and I still ended up with pinhole leaks. I love the ease of use. The weight was manageable for me with my limited strength. Expansion was excellent. This year I am trying another brand.

Impressed
This the first time I have ever used a flex hose. I have had those 50 lb rubber hoses, dragging them around the yard. No more, we bought the 100 ft. hose. It weights very little, but still just as strong as the rubber one. My wife can carry it around the yard easy. Gives me a break, yeah. The quality is excellent, metal fittings are solid. Just lay it out and slowly turn on the water and watch it grow. When you turn the water off let it run out and you can watch it shrink, slowly wrap the hose around a reel. Best ever!

but it was easy to install and provides an effective visual perception
Used to put a safety fence around a 9 foot high wall to keep the beagle from inadvertently falling off while pursuing squirrels. Could be a heavier gauge if ever tested ,but it was easy to install and provides an effective visual perception.
