I purchased the red mophie. I had the original heavy one which I loved and still have. Since I upgraded my phone I could no longer use. The new one is much lighter, feels very durable and thick. However, the recharge doesn’t completely recharge your phone, like the original. I could go a day or two on the original mophie. I wouldn’t risk it with this new one. It’s ok to purchase for that one additional backup charge that you may get.

The case splits in 2 to go on your phone. The top does not stay on well and constantly comes off when pulling out of pocket. And if you drop it. Charge isn't that great especially because it takes forever to charge the unit. Hard pass

A lot of negative reviews...I have owned prior Mophie iPhone cases.They used to be VERY thick to house the battery. This is BY FAR the thinnest Mophie battery case I’ve ever owned. Very thin and very light. It’s nearly the same size as the non battery cases was using prior.New and rare, the case charges using a lightning connecter, which is so convenient.Having had mophie cases in the past, they’ve never been able to fully charge a dead iPhone. The best way to use them is to drain the case battery first and then use the iPhone battery.No issues charging with a Samsung QI charger.Yes it could be cheaper but their warranty is best in the business and it’s not a dangerous cheap Chinese knock off battery.

Great quality, makes the iPhone X very sturdy. Love this version that has lightning connector.Cons- you get maybe 30-40% more battery before it is depleted. Would like to get a full charge.- isn’t like the apple battery case, so when you enable it, the iPhone believes it is plugged in and does more strenuous activities like backup, etc that eats up more battery. There really isn’t anything you can do about this, apple locks this on purpose.If you are like me and need to extend your battery for 2-3 hours while traveling and have an IPhone X (not an iPhone XS, which has an official apple battery accessory case). This battery case is great!

Mophie used to have a reputation for high quality which justified the very high prices they charge for their products. Lately their products are not what they used to be and I do not see purchasing anything from them again. This fits the phone well but for the size of it does not provide even a full charge for an iPhone X, which is not known for having a very large battery to charge to begin with!!! If you can get one on sale for under $30 I would recommend but anything over $50 is just not worth it these days. Apple and Samsung can justify the high prices they charge but even they are reaching a ledge where few customers will follow them over.

Love this product for battery power but it doesn’t protect the screen well. Broken screen within a week...

Unfortunately, the one I received also did not work, as many others have stated. It charged up, slipped the phone into it (it actually is nicely made and seemed durable), and pressed the button. It charged a 10% phone to 20% then stopped working. Charged the case again, and then wouldn't even start charging the phone when pressing the button to activate it. Tried a few more times, even tried another phone.Super disappointed because I needed the charge on an old phone for a LONG running event and needed the phone to stay alive for emergencies, tracking, and music.Do not recommend this particular product. I expected a bit more from this brand, which I have had better luck with their other products. Seems like the entire production of this product fell short for many others.

TL;DR : Great case, but too slick and can easily drop your phone using this case. Went back to my plastic case and an extra battery charger.I've had many mophie battery packs in the past and enjoyed using them with my iPhones (5,6s). I had been waiting for quite some time to get this battery pack for my iPhone X. It fit perfectly and was very easy to charge and get started. The case is not too bulky and it worked with my Qi charger. The reason I returned it was that the case was very slick, and not in a good way. It easily fell out of my hands and it was not easy to grip. I did not feel comfortable using this product so I returned it a week after receiving it. I put my plastic case back on the phone and got a rechargeable battery for when I travel.
