Cute AND comfortable AND well made! It doesn't get much better!!
I am a scientist which means I spend a lot of time on my feet every day, and am required by safety regulations to wear closed toe shoes in the lab at all times. Since I just wear a lab coat every day I get to dress casually, but that doesn't mean I always want to wear my athletic sneakers every day. I'm always on the look out for comfortable, versatile closed toe shoes that are cuter and more fashionable than athletic shoes. I have worn Chuck Taylor slip ons in the past but truth be told they're too narrow for my feet and are uncomfortable for that reason. When I saw these I thought they'd be perfect! They're simple but cute and offer a great deal of support and comfort without being too big and chunky. I have very high arches and LOVE the arch support these offer!! That is so rare to find in a shoe like this! They are well made, high quality shoes. There was very little break in. I had a little rubbing on my heel the first day and it took the tongue a few wears to be really comfortable on the top of my foot (with a no show sock underneath) but otherwise felt great right out of the box! I always wear size 8.5 and these fit exactly as expected. I love that the laces aren't too long and I don't have big ugly bows or tails to flop around when I walk. Sometimes I tuck them in the shoe so they're not visible. Once you tighten them up they stay that way very well on their own without needing to be tied super tight. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and can definitely recommend these! I paid full price.

Stylish & supportive
Love these sneakers. They look like Converse but offer much more support. I bought these for an upcoming trip to Europe where much walking will be done. These sneakers are super comfortable and stylish. I have plantar fasciitis on my left foot and the arch support on these is fantastic. Plus they look so much better than walking around in running shoes. I swapped out the laces for elastic laces so that I can easily slip them on/off without retying. I'm normally a 7.5 M/B but I did listen to other reviews and ordered in a size 8 and they fit perfectly, so they do run a bit small. Width-wise, they were perfect for me. I got them in the charcoal gray color and they're a deeper gray than what's shown in the pictures above, which I prefer.

Lasted less than a month
At first I thought these shoes are great! I bought them for a 10 day european trip. I like that they have great arch support while looking cute, however, they lasted half a month. When I went to put them on post trip, I noticed they had already begun to tear. And not just separating the fabric from the rubber, but the fabric itself shredded, making it very difficult to repair. These shoes are far too expensive to last less than a month of regular wear and tear.

Elastic laces make these shoes perfect.
I usually buy an 8.5 (us) in sneakers to accommodate a long big toe. I needed to order a 9. I was very frustrated, for the first two weeks, by the stiff laces. Getting in and out of these shoes was really annoying. Then I started looking for elastic laces, hoping that I could find some that didn't look like athletic laces. I could not believe my luck when I found the exact right type, and they even come in ivory! Now the shoes can be put on easily no untying necessary ever again. I re-laced them in a different way because I was on auto pilot, but liked it better that way. See photo for side-by-side comparison. So happy!

Comfy shoes, weird color
The following are the things I liked about the product and the things I dislikedLiked:-They have a high arch support, which I need.-They have a good insole. The insole is thick enough for me and I’m on my feet constantly for work and school. I also walk a lot and I feel that my feet aren’t tired at the end of the day like they usually are.-The style is great! I used to buy Vans, which are similar looking to this shoe, but because Vans offer no support, my feet would be killing me within a few hours. Taos, on the other hand, kept up with me. Taos is like an orthopedic shoe without looking like one.-I have several feet problems like plantar fasciitis, but I noticed that I don’t wake up with achey feet with these shoes.- These shoes are a bit wider than most, but that personally works for me because I have a tailor bunion on one foot.Things I did not like:-Right out of the box, the shoes are very stiff so it feels like I need a bigger size than usual. I just wore them around the house for a few hours and they began loosening up. I’ve purchased Taos before, so I knew this would happen, but they do get better with a little wear! I don’t like this because the heel of my foot hurts a little bit in the beginning and has an overall snug feeling. I’ve been told that all good shoes need a break in period though, so who knows!- Going more in detail about the snugness is that initially they felt a bit uncomfortable on my pinky toes, I think I have fat toes because this happens to me in most shoes no matter what size I try. So this is a warning to my other fellow chubby toe folks out there. The discomfort dissipated after 2 uses.-I purchased the denim black because I like black shoes, but the shoes I received were more gray than black. The photo of the denim black looks true black and the box says they’re black. When I looked through the other colors though, the shoes I received definitely looked more like their gray option. I attached a photo so you can see what they actually look like. ( I already wore them a few times, so excuse their dirty look ^.^ )

Worth every penny!
These are the most comfortable sneakers I've worn. I'm a longtime Converse wearer but and comfort-wise, these blow them away. The arch support is fantastic, and I was blown away at how cushiony and comfortable they are. And they looker more dressy (if that's possible for sneakers). My show size varies between 7-7.5 and 8 in running shoes. I ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfect wearing them with thin, no-show socks! Really glad I didn't order a size up because I probably would slip right out of them. I have high arches and narrow heals. I'll for sure be buying another pair.

Must buy!
These are the best canvas shoes with arch support that I have bought and stylish, too. They fit a size smaller than marked. My size is a women's 9 and I bought the size 10 for a perfect fit. The 9 1/2 were still too small. Ditch the Converse and give your feet some love.

For a comfortable runner, this is it!
So comfortable, better than Vans any day.

It's important to me to wear comfortable shoes but look good as well, these shoes do both!
I'm happy with my purchase. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. Have had lots of compliments.
