This is a great turkish grind coffee. The cardoman spice iw not overwhelming. While brewing in pot it froths up perfectly, a sign of high quality. It is not bitter or too acidic as many strong coffees are. I am a total coffee snob especially when it comes to Turkish andd espressos. This is my favorite .. ive purchased at least two dozen cans over the last three years. Btw this brand is the top brand in Turkey and was featured in a Bizarre Foods episode.

If you love coffee, you simply must try Mehmet Efendi's delicious Turkish coffee! When I am in Istanbul, I make my pilgrimmage down past the spice bazaar to the busiest shop in town...sometimes the line travels all down the shops for a long way..but it moves quickly, because the efficient counter boys know their business. Boom! You walk away with an armful of tins that travel back home and provide the finest coffee experience with no special equipment needed! I seriously htrew away half the clothes in my suitcase to fill up with Mehmet Efendi tins. Better than buying an expensive espresso maker, use a small pot and make your coffee on the stove, boiling the water and letting crema occur naturally...Read up on how to make it! This coffee is delicious and I have ordered several times. However, this last shipment was a mess. One of the four containers did not have a lid and the cellophane cover was punctured - there was coffee everywhere. This seller needs to be aware of how their employee's pack the orders. I will order again because I love this coffee and reminds me of the time I spent in Istanbul.
