Reliable High Capacity Rechargeable AA Batteries Great Value
The Amazon Basics rechargeable AA NiMH batteries have been very reliable over the years. They function well in a wide range of devices and hold a solid charge. Charging speed is reasonable, and they do not get excessively warm while charging when used with a proper charger, I use a Panasonic charger. Battery life is good for high drain devices, and they have held up well over time with repeated recharging. Being able to recharge them hundreds of times makes them an excellent value for the money, especially from a trusted brand. Overall, durable, dependable, and a great long term alternative to disposable batteries.

Outstanding cells with loads of power
Great batteries. They have not disappointed me yet. Take a charge well. Function as expected. They give great power all the way down to zero. They run for a longtime and keep my outdoor lights bright and strong. Highly recommended over many other brands. I will advise if I run into problems in the future. Overall, a great choice for rechargeable batteries and at great cost.

Long lasting NiMH in high draw devices!
Along with a good charger, such as Xtar that can handle NiMH batteries these work very well in devices with high draw amperage. Unfortunately I have experienced that they do NOT fit well into flashlights that has tube enclosures because they are just a millimeter too large to fit correctly. They do provide a long charge and are perfect for most things but keep in mind that NiMH batteries are 1.2 volts fully charged and that Alkaline provides 1.5 volts per battery, this normally is a very small issue but if you use them in a device that happens to display how much battery life you have left these will show slightly lower than an alkaline would. For example when I use these in my Luna controller my app on my phone will show that I only have half battery capacity remaining but in reality they last longer than an alkaline would. The price of these are truly worth what you get, many recharge cycles and higher amperage than most other NiMH batteries!

Save lots of money
Will save tons of money by recharging, worth the money. The downside is the batteries dont last too long, but its decent battery life.

Won’t hold a charge!
I literally charged these Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries for the SECOND time a couple weeks ago, I purchased a couple of packs hoping to save $ while keeping my electronics going with fresh batteries but I learned fairly quickly that they will not hold a charge if they sit for any period of time after charging them (like within a week) not to mention the juice runs out of them quickly after all that time waiting for them to charge.😩 I wish I could find some affordable rechargeable batteries that actually work well.

These Amazon Basics batteries are great.
Great price. Great product. Mine are still recharging quite well. I'm not measuring every joule of energy though. If they charge up and run the various devices I use them in, I'm happy.

High failure rate
I use these in low-drain LED under-shelf lighting. They get recharged about once a month. I have been using rechargeable AA lighting in my home and workshop for nearly two decades and while there have always been a couple here and there that fail quickly, I also have many previous-gen Amazon Basics AA batteries (the ones with black labels) that are more than 12 years old in daily use and still successfully recharging each and every month. Those old batteries will probably outlast these new ones. About 1 in 5 of the current-generation batteries has failed to charge after just 2 or 3 charges. They all charged from the half-charge they shipped with to full successfully, and recharged again about a month later. Then I noticed one day one of the lights suddenly dimmed from full-brightness to barely-lit. I took the batteries out and tested them. Two tested at 1.2 volts, just like they should. The third tested at less than 0.3 volts. I put it on the charger and the charger rejected it as "unable to charge". A few days later another light did the same thing. Again, one of the batteries had dropped to near-zero while the other two were normal, and again the charger rejected the battery. So far about 20% of all these batteries I bought in the past few months have failed. The batteries that work, work well. But the high failure rate makes me wonder just how long I can count on them to work.
