Please do yourself a favor and invest in this product.
Im a vehicle detailer, and I have four general motors vehicles with black plastic trim (a Gmc Terrain, a Chevrolet Equinox, a 2004 chevrolet Z71 suburban, and a 2005 Caddilac Escalade ESV platinum), and this is the exact product you want to get to restore those cars trims. Ive been researching for years, and this product is not like the gimmicky kinds; It has a chemical reaction with your plastics, absorbing into it for longevity, and rejuvenates the oils and black color the plastics have lost over the years. It changes your discolored fading plastics into a fresh out the factory looking part and I'm in love with its results. The product does not wash off once it’s infused into the plastics, and continues to shine for months. I would not recommend burning your trim and making it bridle because you get a few months of rich color from it, use this stuff instead.

Fixed my laptop's monitor bezel like new.
I was gifted an inexpensive laptop that was brand new and after removing the stickers the monitor's bezel had a fair amount of residue, which I typically remove with Goof Off. Well, I'm a dummy and the Goof Off also removed the dye from the plastic of the bezel making it look whitish and faded. After la little interwebs research, I found this product and uh... yeah: it solved the problem. A very small amount applied to a terry cloth and wiped on then and then wiped off with a different corner of the side towel, and the bezel looks good as new. I am am elated, and will now watch for how it lasts over time. I honestly wish I had taken before and after pics just to better illustrate how well the product worked. And now I have enough to fix, like, a thousand bevels, with this one little jar.

Apply Carefully
Outstanding product overall. I had little expectations but this blew me away. Follow instructions is all I have to say. I recommend using a sponge brush, your size is your preference on size of application. Use a damp microfiber towel to clean up any excess. Only use on PLASTIC surfaces. It made interior and exterior plastic look brand new and even covered up some light scratch stains. Do not get on any cloth and I will follow up on my next touch up.

Do not apply prior to a rain storm
We had to get a fender replaced on a 2012 Jeep Overland and they had to replace the black plastic fender trim as well. I knew that the trim was extremely faded so I asked the body shop to replace the one on the other side as well just so it matched...I paid the $285 out of pocket for that...now the front fenders looked great, but the black trim under the door, around the rear wheel arch, the back cargo step and roof rack looked terrible in comparison. I watched multiple videos on how to restore this plastic trim color and looked at everything from heating to painting! This seemed to be the easiest and most reliable method to restore the color of the black trim. I got this and a package of microfiber polish application pads. I used 2 pads. One to apply the stuff and the other to buff the stuff after it had sat for a while. Tip...wear gloves. And old clothing. You WILL get this stuff on you, your shoes, the ground and your hands will be very black afterwards...and it doesn't wash out right away...which is a good thing. Because you want this stuff to stick around on your car. Unfortunately for me, it rained the next day and I had some black streaks running down my white car. Took my polishing pad and rubbed where the black streaks were and they came right off the paint. This was 3 months ago and so far, it still looks good...we will see how it hold up over the winter!

Best Product I’ve Used
100% worth it. I’ve used a LOT of other products over the years to bring the plastic back to my Honda Element. This has by far been the BEST. It definitely has a dye to it so wear gloves. It’s rained since I applied it and it’s still going strong. I will update this review when it starts to fade….if it does.

Works well, small bottle goes far
We have a two year old rivian with faded black trim. Other products work for a bit but only last a few washes and in the rain. This product came highly reviewed so we gave it a try. It has a light, liquidy consistency that goes on thin and spreads easily and appears to dye the plastic. Following the instructions, I cleaned the trim with rubbing alcohol and then applied with a microfiber pad and buffed it out with a separate, dry microfiber towel. The product goes a long way. I ordered the smallest bottle and spilled about half of the product halfway through, and still had plenty to finish the whole truck. The results are impressive. The trim looks brand new and is not greasy like some other products. We’ll see how well it holds up. If I remember I will update with pics as time goes on.

Works well
I used a latex glove and an old sock, that's all, you dont need anything special, just an old cloth you dont mind tossing afterwords, its dye, so I dont wanna worry about washing the rag after and staining something else unintentionally. That said, just tryd today so idk how long it lasts but definitely the best product ive used in this category. Looks really good 👍

Great product, works as advertised.
Fantastic product. Wiped 5 years of Texas sun off of the plastics, and rubber on my Ram 1500. Easy to apply, easy to wipe off. Hopefully it lasts.

A small amount spread on a clean surface restores the original black color. I have applied it twice a month, and it's doing quite well. My jeep fender flares were in very bad condition, and the weather where I live is extremely hot and humid. Probably will repeat applying the solution every month to keep them always in perfect look.

Found this product via Forensic Detailing Channel on YouTube. He raved about this product and I had not found anything to successfully restore the scuttle on my Mk5 Astra so thought I’d give it a try. I bought the small bottle to start, and wish I just got the big bottle, as this stuff really does work. The 12oz bottle is way better value for money and has a restrictor built in to the bottle top to aid flow of the liquid. The 1 oz bottle is just an open top and this product is very runny, I stupidly knocked it over on my kneeling mat when applying to the bumper trim and wasted half of it hence buying the bigger bottle too. If you wash skin and black clothes on a hot wash straight away you can clean up and salvage clothes, lighter clothes I imagine will stain pretty bad. You don’t need to use much product per item being restored. After spilling probably half an ounce of the small bottle I did all the plastics on my car and still had some left, but I own 2 other cars so bought the big bottle which will last me a life time probably. I cut a square off a cheap sponge to apply and used an old microfibre to buff off. Both disposed of when finished. Easy to apply on flat surfaces, grills and crosshatch surfaces are a pain but I sacrificed a detailing brush and used blue roll to buff up and soak. My cars are black so cannot comment if you get the product on light paint by accident, so be more careful than I was when applying
