Initial Review 2022 3 stars Seems sturdy and the fitting were of good quality but the sail itself is not what we expected. It probably blocks 80% of the sun but definately not 100%. We replaced a red sail that blocked 100% of the sun. Waiting until it rains to determine how much of an issue it is that it isn't waterproof. Our previous sail stopped 100% of the rain with the downside that I had to make a few holes to let the water run out as my mounting is near horizontal.Update May 2025. Upgraded review to 5 stars. The sun shade has survived 2 Houston summers and 3 winters. I now like the fact that rain can permeate the sail as it saves worrying about it. I just purchased a second identical sail for the other side of my pool. What really impressed me was that the original sail has not faded compared to the new one. I take them down for major storms but otherwise they are up all the time. Survived sun, rain, snow and ice. I wish they would add 2 more D rings at the midpoint on the two shorter sides but otherwise these are really great.

Works very good for the area I needed it for, I only had 3 points to attach it to.Doesn't provide as much shade as I was hoping, but it's a triangle and I expected that.I also bought a bigger matching rectangle from the same manufacturer and very pleased as well.Much more shade with the rectangle.Seems to be made pretty good, had some strong winds lately didn't seem to bother the shade much.Hardware worked very good too.I would buy again and I recommend this product

I have two of these. They've held up nicely against the desert climate in Palm Springs, CA. I do take them down when forecasts call for winds > 20MPH, but they've handled the 110+ degree heat and sun very well.Only issue: Get yourself some good quality galvanized or anodized screws -- even when using a moderate power driver, the included cast Phillips screw heads will strip when driving them half way into soft doug-fir.

This was the first time we bought a shade sail and were a little intimidated by the installation. Love that all the hardware came with the product vs. some of the other brands where you have to buy separately. The product came as described and a week earlier than it was supposed. Works great!!

It stretches after it hangs for a while, so make sure you are able to tighten it after a few weeks.Very easy to put up and looks great.

Like the title says, don’t get a blue one. Online it looks like a nice blue, but in person it looks like a plastic tarp. It does what it’s supposed to do, but I feel that my neighbors are going to report me for having a cheap tarp. It also sags really low, but that’s probably due to the extremely long length. Decent enough quality on the materials, but I did have to buy extra materials to hang it up. If I would have been smart to buy another color, I may have given it four stars.

This work perfectly in my side yard . Easy to install.

I bought three sails and overlays them on my patio. I wanted them to be up a couple months before I rated them to see how they held up through weather, scorching sun and wind. In a word they are fantastic! They hold their shape and color, are virtually unaffected by wind, and make a dramatic design statement. I bought all three for just about the price of a quality patio umbrella, but these do much, much more, look better, cover more area and will certainly last years longer. The only requirement is imagination. Love them.
