Increases Speed and Accuracy
The Zip Tape dispenser increases the speed and accuracy of applying Zip Tape. It takes effort but so does the tape by itself. The tape is the source of the needed effort because it sticks. The stickiness along with the thickness is what makes it an excellent product.Applying the tape by hand takes lots of effort. Fingers get stuck. With the dispenser, stuck fingers are no longer a problem.Plus, the dispenser helps flatten the tape to the surface. Rolling the tape improves.

Works OK, but screws began falling off immediately, broke fully after 8 months.
This gun was useful for rolling, but also started falling apart after a few days. Screws started coming undone, the handle fell off, and I began losing the screws quickly. The product could use some loctite to keep those screws on. Still, after losing screws, it was still a somewhat useful tool as the roller was valuable.After about 8 months, pieces of the housing began snapping and the gun is now useless. I wish I hadn't spent the money on this thing!

Needs improvements
It is a nice way to make long runs with the tape, but it could use some improvements! The tape is really hard to pull off the roller and it needs some type of cutting tool attached to it. Plus the roller with the tape added to it is heavy! I'm trying to tape my house people, not get a workout in! If you didn't know any better you might think they invented Thor's hammer.

zip is horrible
we had an engineer put this on our building plan and we so regret it. this is literally building your house out of glued together wood chips and tape. it chips, falls apart, swells with water etc. the tape does not stick even when rolled so the warranty is void. reps wont come to give any input even though one lives in the same town. this is such junk. it sold for $8 a sheet a few years ago now is about 10 times that . total crap. dont be a victim to this. price gouging the little guys as well. very awful company and product. use plywood and tyvek never this you will regret it.
