Great book, there are so many twists, the theme is as dark, light-hearted, suspenseful its a jack of all trades and it will keep you at the edge of your seat, I am collecting all the books after watching the anime, if you havent already watch the anime, it as very faithful to the actual book/story and it was closely made with the author so props for that, that are you waiting for go read this book and also watch the anime!!

This series is amazing the writing is wonderful and the world building is familiar yet unique you can enjoy a story where relating to the character is somewhat expected.

What a fantastic series up to now ive ordered to the newest volume 4 of the light novels and the show is just as fantastic support the anime support this series it is worthy of praise :)!now speaking of the book itself, it has an ok feel to it yet its only standard yen press/on quality which is kinda low in the material department but still take care of the book and it wont take much wear for a year or two DO A BETTER JOB YEN ON! lol

Re:Zero provides a gripping story with fun characters. I bought the series because I enjoyed the anime, and the light novels go into greater detail than the anime. The only qualm I have is that at times the story moves rather sluggishly, leaving the reader in a "get on with it" sort of mood. Good story, good art, can't wait for the next volume.

I found the tiny mistake the other reviewer found and I took a picture. Nice to see the new official cannon name for Rem. I've read the unofficial translation already, like always the official yen press is much more refined and manages to flow smoothly.I loved the story so to support the author I preordered the first three books way back when. It was shipped in a bubble padded envelope so the back is a little dinged but I'm not too put off by it. Decent book that introduces a few important characters later in the series.
