Delta Other Soap/Lotion Dispenser

Nice sturdy pump with large container to hold liquid soap!

I just finished replacing my kitchen faucet and soap dispenser with a matte black Delta faucet. The hardest part was, of course, wedging myself under the sink and behind the garbage disposal to remove the corroded hardware. Once that was done, it was a snap to install the Delta Soap Dispenser. It simply screws on without tools and they even supply a little funnel for refills. Note: it helps if you have someone keep the top section from turning as you screw on the big plastic knob under the sink. Then you screw on the 13-ounce plastic soap jug and you are good to go. I can't testify about long term reliability, but I'll update this review if I ever have a problem.

We installed the dispenser in a pre-drilled hole in our granite countertop. The installation process is simple but requires two people: one person to hold the escutcheon in place on top while another works underneath the sink to secure the nut. Once the nut is in place, the bottle screws in. The bottle may be filled from the top with the included funnel. We are using ours for hand soap adjacent to the kitchen sink. The only problems we encountered during installation were crossthreading of the plastic nut underneath while attempting to secure it, and filling the plastic bottle that holds the soap. While a funnel is included, there's no venting to allow air to escape while filling the bottle...so thick liquid tends to take its time going down. It only took a couple of times pumping before the soap came out. Seems to work well, but it's just been a couple of days since we installed it. I will report back if there are any issues that come up over time.

The Delta Lotion Dispenser matches the Delta faucet that was purchased. It was exceptionally easy to install, very easy to fill with soap and has a very large reservoir for soap. It proved to be a 100% acceptable purchase.

Had just replaced my kitchen sink and put in a black faucet by Moen. Wanted a matching color soap dispenser and this fit the bill just fine. Seems to be of higher quality than others I've seen, finish is excellent, and most importantly it looks great. Delivery was prompt. Very happy.

I had this soap dispenser in my old house and loved it. When I moved and re-did the kitchen, I bought the same in black. It works well with my black faucet but this dispenser is stiff, making it hard to press down. I'm hoping it loosens up with use. Otherwise, I love it.

Stem is too short!!! Just had a hole cut for my granite only to find out that this thing isn’t even long enough....not happy
