The NiceFoto softbox is quite nice for the price. It is easy to assemble, provides a nice soft light, and seems pretty sturdy, and the rods and box are one piece, so you don't have to worry about keeping track of 20 rods. I would definitely recommend this for a budget-minded photographer, or a beginner to flash photography.One word of caution, when putting the box together, be careful about the force you use to snap the rods into place along the Bowens mount. If you use too much force you may damage the rods.

I've been a professional photographer for over 10 years, and have used a wide variety of softboxes. I was impressed with the reviews on this particular one, and went ahead and made the purchase. Once I opened it, I noticed problems right away.1) One of the metal support ribs was broken from the start, and the company hasn't responded to any of the three support requests I've sent. Customer service seems to be non existent.2) The whole umbrella works on a pressure system, and you have to pull super hard on every, single, individual spoke just to get the thing open. It is NOT a quick and easy process whatsoever.3) The whole thing is actually quite heavy and bulky. It's not streamlined in any way, and because manually forcing every single umbrella rib is such a hassle, I never want to set it up. Once I do have it set up, I never want to bother to take it down. And I don't say that lightly. It's not laziness. It's really just that much of a pain.I gave it two stars vs one star because the softbox grid it comes with is actually quite nice. Overall though, I'm extremely unhappy with my purchase. Yes, it's not priced as high as some pro softboxes. But I've been happier working with much lighter, one-push umbrellas that cost me half what this one costs. I am looking to replace this one as soon as possible.

I've only used this a few hours, but so far is seems really good. the setup is super quick and easy, its nice being able to lock all the poles from the rear so you can fold it or open it without having to un-velcro and remove the internal and external diffuser between locations if you move around a lot. the poles can be a little difficult to latch and unlatch because of tension, but because of that tension the dome and front is tight and does not move a whole lot. the light spreads nicely and evenly. The included bag is very nice for storage and travel. I will update if it starts to have problems, but so far I am rather happy with this box, especially if you tend to move locations a lot and need to open and close it quickly

Outstanding parabolic softbox. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2006, and I recently started doing a lot of video work and this thing is absolutely awesome. I bought a cheaper one, but a friend told me to spend the extra money for this and I’m so glad I did. It opens and closes so quickly and easily, which matters when you’ve got a client tapping their foot, and it gives off beautiful light. You won’t regret buying this.

For the Price you cant beat it!! Super easy to set up and the quality seems to be very good!Between this and the aperture light dome ii its a no brainier! Why pay more???The best part is it matches perfectly with the new godox Vl lights!! lol not sure if that matters to you but to me it makes it a more legit set up especially when it comes to client perception! Its the little things.. you know??

Great value, easy to setup and seems durable. I got it to use with my Aputure LED light, but it didn't fit the bowen mount. Had to use my dremel to shave off a couple millimeter off the mounting point for it to fit. Once that modification is done, it works great. Definitely beats paying $300 for basically the same product as the Aputure Light Dome.

I cannot believe the price of this. I was torn between spending the extra money on the Aperture Light Dome II or giving this a shot. I am so glad I went with this soft box. Very soft professional lighting for a cheap price compared to products like the aputure light dome. This product seems durable and is the cheapest “fast setup” parabolic softbox that I’ve seen. I’ve used it a number of times and have been pleased with the results. Would recommend.
