Brilliant Product
This plastisiser is simply fantastic. A very small amount required in each batch and mortar is lovely to work with. No long term staining evident either after several years. Highly recommended and good value due to small amount used in each mix.

Excellent Product
If you do make cement for brickwork then you will know - or should know - that you need some form of plasticiser to help the cement properly mix and help it's workability. Traditionally most brickies chucked in a bit of washing up liquid which, worked just fine. However, today on sites that's absolutely forbidden and the 'proper' chemicals should be used. Don't see many old houses falling down, but I guess someone must have their reasons. Anyway, I use the chemicals that should be used and I've tried loads of them during my time over the last seven years and they all work. However, what I have found is that the small packets of dry mix and this concentrated stuff offer far better value and last much longer than the bulk 5ltr product. So I stick to this now. You use only a small amount per mix - which in my case is one barrow load - and that equates to around 5ml which means this bottle will last a good long time. The bad bit is that it is fitted with an integral measuring cap that doesn't work. Or at least mine does not. It's graduated in ml but as the bottom is entirely open I can't see how it is supposed to work. I suspect there is a missing bit which, is irritating. It does mean that you either guess or if you really want to be accurate find another measuring cap. In use it makes the cement nice and 'fat' and easy to use. Ideal on bricks but on hollow concrete blocks I find that the fatter, smoother mix is harder to get to stay in place on the thinner edges. Overall a great value product.

The key to nice mortar
Half a capful (10ml) in a standard mix (16 sand 4 cement) will make your mortar/muck/compo buttery smooth.

Bad design.
Measuring cup doesn't work. It's completely open at the bottom of it so impossible to fill up.
