Del Monte Ketchup - 24 oz - 6 pk

Del Monte Ketchup is the best-tasting ketchup. Other kinds of ketchup have so much vinegar in them and for me a major turn-off. Thank you, Amazon for having the ketchup I like. It costs more than other ketchup but is worth it.

This is undoubtedly the best tasting catsup on the market. It is such a shame that local Texas grocery stores never have it in stock.

This is my favorite Ketchup. The taste isn't vinegary or harshly spicy. My favorite grocery store no longer carries it so I hit Amazon to get 6 bottles. Great price too.

I love this product. I used to drive and extra 22 miles to get it. I was delighted to find it, in a bundle, and reasonably priced. Thank you.

For some reason it is almost impossible to find Del Monte Ketchup in grocery stores in or around Lakeland Florida. So in desperation I ordered it from Amazon. The per bottle price was at least twice the price I would expect to pay in a grocery store. The product is excellent. Has a much better flavor that Heinz. I have certain recipes that call for ketchup and Del Monte is always the go to choice for me. I am told Wal-Mart carries Del Monte ketchup, but I just hate going into that filthy place. So I bite the bullet.

Thiwnbrand was in a recipe for a good hot dog sauce and we loved the sauce.

My story. Del Monte used to be a food on old time radio programs. On their radio advertisement they impressed how much better this Ketchups was because of the vinegar was made from pineapple which made it tangier. The adds I was listening to were from the 1950's. So I decided to do my own taste test.I know there are other Ketchups but I only had De Monte and Heinz. So that is what I used. The Heinz was just a little darker in color. Consistency was very similar to each other. Del Monte was just a little tangier. I may have wanted the Del Monte Ketchup to be noticeably better but it was not. Del Monte may have stopped using pineapple vinegar due to costs or availability. Who knows, who cares but I got my question answered. Both excellent products. That is my story.

For the last 15 to 20 years I have used Del Monte Ketchup on my tacos! Standard taco - meat, cheese, sometimes picante or other sauce, next to last is shredded lettuce and on that goes the ketchup. I have tried to get my son and wife to try a taco this way and this year my son did try it. When he finished his taco he said "you are right, dad, it is way better your way!" Now he uses Del Monte Ketchup on every taco. And it has to be Del Monte! I have tried a lot of other ketchups and they just don't work the same. We use @two teaspoons per taco. Hard to find in stores anymore but Amazon will deliver it for free!
