Compared to similar items, this cooling blanket is definitely less expensive. I have never had one of these before, so I cannot compare it to our blankets, but I can review it. The blanket is not giant, but if you have two small dogs or one medium/large dog, they should fit on his blanket. It is very thin, very soft and silky, and very lightweight. I put the blanket on the carpet, and when I stepped on it, I could feel the coolness. I wanted to get it for our dogs,mbecause they are both mostly black, and love lying in the sun on the deck. So far, I can't get them to lie on it. For the money, I figured it was worth a try. Maybe they will take to it, but I'm not too worried about it, because I didn't spend $60 on it. I think it would be good, if your dog likes to lie on cool surfaces. I don't know how long it would "stay" cool, but it certainly is cool to the touch.

the blanket does have some cooling effect, but the durability and quality isn't the best. it's super thin and flimsy so when my lab walks on it to lay down it doesn't stay in place very well unless ur holding the edges down. it's also so thin that just her walking on it has roughed it up a bit - she hasn't chewed on it. probably wouldn't buy again.

I am really impressed with the cooling ability of this blanket. We live in the south and our dog loves to lay on this in the afternoon. The only negative is that that blanket is far to lightweight. The minute she lays on and moves even a little bit the blanket squished up and ends up by her side. I will look for another one that has a non skid backing or heavier weight in the future.

My 12 year old Golden overheats rather quickly. I was desperate to find something to help her. When I first received it, I couldn't believe how cool it felt to the touch. But, the first few days, Marlie didn't seem to care. A few days later, all I have to do is lay it out, and she gets up and moves to this blanket! This morning, she actually spread her legs so her tummy could feel the coolness.

I was expected a rubber or vinyl mat material and this was fabric-it does not hold the cold temperature as advertised. Returning.

I used this for my aging dog of 13yrs .He loved it so much and when he became very sick in mid July’20 I actually sent it with him when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 7.23.20.

I live in part of the Bay Area that’s hot! So I bought this for my cats and when I laid it down it was so cool that I laid on it myself! Kept me cool all night on my bed! But my cats didn’t lay on it :(

Disliked this product so much. Its supposed to be a petcooling blanket with cooling gel in it. Its nothing like advertised. Its a piece of polyester cloth. It doesn’t cool pey at all. Shame on this company. And shame on me for buying crap from China. If I’d noticed it was from China. I never would have bought it.
