Cellfood SAM-e Liquid Formula

I wanted to try SAM-e for my moods so I purchased tablets first and they killed my stomach. Terrible gas pains, unbearable. I did my research and was excited to find SAM-e in this liquid form. I've been taking them for about 2 weeks now and I definitely feel it's helped with my moods and PMS. I'm not a big person (5', 100lbs) so I was nervous at first to do the 10 drops 2x a day after reading some of the reviews. I started slow with 10 drops 1x a day and I haven't experienced any bad side effects whatsoever so now I'm doing them 2x a day still with great results. I went to Lumina's website to read about the daily dosage of 72mg and it explains that the way it's delivered into your body (by the carrier) you're actually getting a 400mg dose. The taste is definitely bitter but not so bad that I can't take it. I put the 10 drops under my tongue, hold for about a minute, then swallow. The bitterness doesn't linger that long. Great product, will continue to take in order to avoid antidepressants! Thank you, Lumina!!!

I just hadn’t been feeling myself and went down the Google rabbit hole to discover sam e. I’m a firm believer in supplements and decided to give this a try. I personally have also had better success with sublingual delivery. This product has great reviews, even with several comments on the taste, which is sour. I am not disappointed. As a busy person with quite a few food intolerances, my diet probably left me deficient in many B vitamins, which I read can lower the amount of Sam e In your body. I think the main determining factor in whether or not a supplement works is whether or not your body needs it. Apparently mine did, because I saw mood improvement the very first day and now, just 2 weeks later, I feel like my best self. I was also experiencing joint pain from possible arthritis and this product has greatly decreased my aches and pains. As some have mentioned, the bottle is he’d to squeeze, but the liquid gold that comes out of it is worth being patient for! I’m not a medical professional, just sharing what has helped me in the hopes my story could help someone else.

I put 10 drops on a spoon. It tastes awful. Took about 2 weeks to deal with the taste. I am now on my 5th week and it has begun to work for me. I have a little bit less aches from arthritis but more important is My Mood is Much Better! I also have a little bit more energy. I will keep buying. 4 stars because of the taste and how difficult it is to get the drops out. Wish it costs less, but hey, it's working.

Excellent product. I have been using it for three years for my cat. She has hypothyroidism and in 2022 her liver numbers were off. Now, with this and special food, she lives on at 15 years old.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I used to buy the Sam-e by Jarrow, the 200 mg tablets, but found that that dosage was too much for me because I was getting heart palpitations and restlessness at nighttime. So I decided to swith over to this liquid formula so that I could cut down my dosage, since you can't cut the enteric coated tablets from Jarrow. I'm down to 5 drops every morning on an empty stomach and then I wait for 30 minutes before I have breakfast. No side effects, no extra ingredients. Besides helping with depression and anxiety, it has helped with my liver. I use to take an additional supplement to help with my cholesterol and my natural care provider took me off of it because this has helped.

It really do exactly what it claims--at least for me. It relieves achy joints, it puts me in a better mood, and gives me more energy. I wish it were not quite so expensive, but it is essential for me to function highly in the very challenging life stage I'm in, taking care of an ill family member. I take double the dosage given on the bottle, both morning and evening. Sam-e is used as an anti-depressant in Italy and elsewhere in Europe, and I find the Cellfood liquid form to be significantly more effective than tablets.

This may be a good product, but you should not be dropping this or any vitamin on your tongue, without additional water! The water is important, I developed Kidney Stones 3 weeks after taking this!! NO Vitamins Without Water!!!

I started by taking 4 drops twice a day and later increased to 8 drops twice a day. I had heard from others the liquid is much more effective than the pills. I guess I am one of those that get the unusual side effect of heart palpitations(along with the inability to take a deep breath)...it scared me, so I discontinued use and the side effects went away. The addition of the SAM-e was the only new thing and I had never had the palipitations previously. Before that (when on the 4 drops) I had noticed a subtle increase in energy - not the kind as from coffee - but the ability to think of something and follow through with it...I do think it was from the SAM-e and it was noticble, albeit subtle. Also noticed a subtle clarity of mind and calmness. Had it not been for the side effects, I would have given 4 stars for what I had experienced at that time.
