NO TRUTH IN ADVERTISING!
A beautiful, very sharp fillet knife. Description says 'Made by Marttiini, the makers of premium Rapala fillet knives for over 50 years'. The sheath reads the same as the blade. 'J. Marttiini, Finland'. Everything leads one to believe it is made in Finland. However, on the blister pack packaging, it is written 'manifactured for Marttiini VMC Corp. Made in Estonia'. So I was fed a lie. If I didn't like the knife so much, I would rightfully ask for a refund.

Keeps a sharp edge
As with all of the Rapala fillet knives I have, this is a great knife and compares with other fillet knives at 2-3 time the cost. Construction and quality are good and sharpens to a great cutting edge. It has handled everything I have thrown at it. You can't go wrong at this price.

Excellent Knife
This knife is excellent, it's the perfect size in my opinion. I actually use this in the kitchen for meats. It has a good edge on it, and it's affordable for it's quality.

Very nice looking knife, but the blade is worse than less expensive knives including other Rapalas.
Blade does not sharpen to a fine edge, and does not hold its edge.

Top Quality Knife!
Rapala - need I say more? Their name is synonymous with a sharp filet knife. I use mine to slice fresh fish. Cuts thru stuff like butter. Very happy.

It's a beautiful instrument, almost too nice to use
I still like the knife, the problem is with the sheath. The snap closure pulled out on one side of the sheath and allows the knife to fall out. Since I only use it at home and store it in a drawer it's not a big deal but I discovered the problem when I took it out and the knife fell on the floor. Fortunately, I missed trying to catch it!
