An absolute must have for professional photographers who need colour correction for flash.
Let's get one thing straight. I absolutely LOVE these gels.Firstly you get three in every pack. Perfect for strobists who use multiple speedlights.I have consciously chosen to use these over Magmod gels, even though I am a big Magmod user. Why? Well because of the size/weight. The entire pack is really small and light. Meaning it takes barely any space up/adds barely any weight to my bag. This is important since as a wedding photographer, I take a lot of gear already. Having to carry three of every Maggel would take a lot more space.I usually just trap the gel between the maggrip and say the maggrid. So in terms of time it takes, it really doesn't take a lot more than using the Maggel. And of course using the Rogue gels means you don't even need Magmod. I can just use the provided elastic bands to fit any speedlight. The gel's even fit the new Godox roundhead V1 speedlight at a pinch. You need to be a bit more accurate with how you position it but it does fit....just. After losing one of the round gels which Godox use, what i've done though is cut one of my spare Rogue gels to shape with scissors. And now it fits great. The other thing I love is that Rogue have helpfully printed the color temp change as well as light loss. Sure you can try to remember it but it's just easier to read it. So I now know at a glance what my resulting Kelvin will be and how many stops I need to add to compensate for the light loss. Brilliant! The wallet itself even has small cardboard divider to help you separate the different gels. I find this is invaluable and saves me a lot of faffing when for example I need to grab say a 1/2 CTO rather than full CTO. With the dividers, I am able to put them in different spaces rather than one 'pack'. Since i'm often setting up equipment in less than ideal lighting, being able to locate the right gel quickly saves me time and effort. Again that's another time when having the info printed on the gel helps. Compare that with the cheap unbranded ones which leave you guessing. Easy in daylight. Not so easy in a dark reception room.I literally use these gels at every single wedding. It's the unsung hero of my equipment that I take. I didn't even notice how much I use it until I lost the pack and I replaced the pack without hesitation. For those who say these are expensive, I suggest you compare how much it would cost you to buy the same amount of maggels and holder. In that context, these are an absolute bargain.

easy to use
simple to use gels in an easy to access case. abit overpriced for this type of thing but I expect to get long term usage out of them. I prefer these as the gels are easy to swap and I can just leave the blue rubberband on permanently even when not using a gel. serves me as a marker for which flash unit is in which group too.the case is not waterproof and too long to fit in a pocket without sticking out. however, that makes it flexible and the contents are not affected by water anyway. it has small bookmarks included to organise your filters in a cheap but efficient way.the gels themself can get creases if you are not careful (thus the provided case to keep them laid flat) but I don't notice a difference in light quality with the creases.

Does the job, just pricey.
Use these with Neewer and Canon speedlites. The gells work fine. Be weird if they didn't. They are thin and a tad fragile, but I think as long as you look after them they will do the job. They are packed with paper separators and 3 thin index cards. This is nice but it's extremely fiddly. Makes you want to put them in some kind of small book/binder solution so you can flick through without dropping 80+ sensitive bits of product everywhere.Knocking a star mainly because it's too expensive for what you get IMO.

Expensive perhaps but good.
OK, these are perhaps a little expensive compared to others available but you do get quite a neat little package. There are 3 gels for each of the 5 colours and 3 white diffusers, making 18 in total. All of them fit into a neat pouch, which is held closed by Velcro. The coloured gels are:- Plus Green, 1/4 CTO, 1/2 CTO, Full CTO and 1/2 CTB.Every gel is labelled together with its F Stop. There are also 2 rubber securing bands and a guide card in the pouch.

Pricey but very convenient.
Perfect. I'd buy again, but they're really quite expensive when compared to normal rectangular filters, such as the Rosco Strobist set or the Rogue Colour Corrective or Colour gel set. You only get one of each colour in this set so when using multiple gridded lights you'd need to use multiple gels. I love gridding speedlights, but if I'm being honest I can't see myself using more than three in a single shot often at all. They are very, very convenient though and I'd be lying if I said I didn't love them. I just feel it would be far better value for money to include at least two of each, if not more. By comparison, the regular gel sets from rogue are only a little more expensive but include 6 of each gel, which still work with most grid systems. As a note, I use these with the JJC stacking grid system, not the matching Rogue system, but they fit perfectly.
