Used these lines (2 of them) for hooking up at the dock with my giant 24' boat.Some people complained about the hook breaking. Its plastic, so use common sense and don't rely on this to hold your boat. Instead use the lines like any boater would and use the hook to hold your bumper. This makes it a 2-in-1 tool and it works great for this.

Love these, put one on each end of my kayaks. I do not remove them that often, so the plastic clasp is not an issue for me as other reviewers have indicated. It is tough to put on and remove, however, that is what I want, a good attachment fo my kayaks. Rope quality is excellent, do not hesitate ti purchase.

These dock lines are decent if you're looking for something that's small enough to store in a jet ski (because face it - they don't have a ton of storage) and you want to be able to work (clip, un-cleat) while sitting on the ski. I didn't find the plastic clip that difficult to work as others did, but rather satisfied to know that it snapped securely shut. The length is also good enough that if you want to tie off to a friend's boat, the ski will drift about rather than slap up against it (which I have found tends to make enemies rather quickly). The rope isn't super strong/heavy, but I think the idea was to make it light enough to float if necessary. I never really got the chance to check this out because I used them for about three quick trips and on the last trip the clip broke when a friend decided he wanted to tow my jet ski rather than have me ride back at night (it seemed like a good idea until the clip broke and it was at that point that I realized that he had used the dock lines instead of something else!) and the other line "mysteriously" got lost. Would I buy another set? Sure, although I think I have some need for towing so I will look towards a heavier clip, but if you don't need any of that fancy stuff these lines are decent for the money.UPDATE: The "missing" dock line was found. The friend that towed me (and broke the other) had it on his boat. Apparently he liked it as much as I did, so now he owns it (and the broken one) and I bought another set.

I bought these for mooring my jet ski, the are brightly colored, strong and the built in heavy duty polymer hooks make it simple to secure the line.

Item had just come when moving things around in the garage, a platform bed frame started to fall over. Was able to grab & tie off to overhead door rail & save the day & my wife's car. Ordered to put on my Sea Eagle Fold Cat fishing boat. My brother was in the front seat & I tried to step on in the back & away the boat went from the dock & I in the water. Need to have tie offs on bothe ends. Fortunately my brother scooped my RX sunglasses off the bottom & I had dry clothes in the truck. No biggie.

These are convenient and inexpensive, but the plastic clips are susceptible to breakage. They are certainly not heavy-duty enough to tow a craft back to shore if needed, or permanently tie a PWC to shore or a dock, but they work for short-term temporary applications and are a great addition in your PWC for emergencies or short-term usage.If they replaced the plastic carabiner with a stainless steel one that was coated, this would become a five star product that I would be willing to spend a few more dollars on.

I use these on my 2016 Sea Doo GTR. They are very well made and I did not have any problems with the clips as another testimonials. However I cannot clip this item into my Seadoo..... the clips are angled in such a way that I could not do this. However I simply turned the Rope around and I secured it to the dock that way.
