Amazing product but confusing to put up!
Assemble: I had a nightmare putting this together not because it is hard but because of the instructions not being clear enough. I had to watch a YouTube video to resolve this. I did not realise the silver height adjustable tube has to be put through the bottom first and brought back up instead I was putting it from the top up and the white plastic bit did not fit the body just in case anyone has the same problem as it was not explained well in the instructions. Sturdiness: It is not an amazing quality as it rips quite easily however for the price it is amazing and actually looks more expensive when put together. Value for money: I would absolutely recommend this. My partner bought a fan in Argos for £50.00 and this is very much like it if not better. It is great value for money. It provides nice cool air needed for the summer hot days and is not louder than any other fan that you would have. I’d say don’t bother spending any more money on other fans and get this because this does an amazing job for an amazing price.

Works well with a good variable air flow.
Comes in Kit form, but pretty easy to assemble. The fan works really well and has three variable speed options. The base is a little flimsy, but so long as you are careful when positioning it, you'll be fine.

A really quiet fan that shifts a good amount of air to
Sitting in our conservatory on a very hot day this week with the temperature outside at 32, our fan finally failed. So looked on Amazon to see what we could get and quickly and reasonably priced. Found this one with reasonable reviews and a good price. It arrived ahead of time and was very well boxed up. Everything was in the box and it came with a good set of instructions, but as we have put many similar fans together over many years assembly was not an issue. All went together easily and whilst a few parts looked cheap such as the feet and base fixing cover they are more than good enough. Once assembled and installed switched it on and the first reaction was how quiet it was and’s on its lowest setting how much air was being pushed through by the blades with the top setting being incredibly and really not necessary to use to get the perfect flow of air. One observation is that the motor housing vibrates in use which is not an issue but it just does, and has no effect on the fan operation. It has been run now for 10 hours on each of the 3 speed settings in order to see if there are any out of box problems but all is still good and it’s running perfectly. As mentioned, very quiet and moves a lot of air through all the 3 settings, and this has not been our experience with other such fan purchases. All in all we are very happy with this purchase and only time will tell just how robust this fan really is.

Not easy to assemble, and you might not get the one in the pic
I ordered x2 Schallen fans due to the fact a friend of mine had bought one for his flat and it was great, however I didnt get sent the schallen ones I got sent ground level and only one fan, I'm not sure if it's exactly the same as the one I wanted but the brand disc makes it look cheap and tacky, trying to assemble it was an absolute nightmare as the instructions arent worth the paper they are written on what good is it having a numbered instruction booklet yet no numbers on the actual pieces? All you get it's a sketchy picture which was absolutely useless. I ended up with 4 small screws that I couldnt find a place for them to fit anywhere and it made me wonder if the manufacturer had just chucked them in the box to add to further confusion! Unless you know how to assemble fans this is going to be like the krypton factor the pieces arent the best made either with some parts not screwing on the way they should, I ended up taking it apart about 4 times and it's still not right so after assembling then taking apart so many times I think this next time will need to do, it seems to be working okay but I've visions of the rotating part flying off! It's a very simple fan once you eventually manage to build it up (if anyone can shed light on where these tiny screws are meant to go let me know) however when I tested it it was great much better than the expensive tower fans I had previously bought from argos , it exceeded expectations in the cold air department and well worth the money for the fact that despite it having cheaply made parts it actually blows out alot of cold air which is exactly what was needed, now to tackle taking it apart again and tightening it all up for the 5th time and hoping that this time its put together correctly

No complaints - does what it promises
Having recently purchased this fan, I can say I have could not be happier. It is by no means perfect, but for the price I found it to be wonderful. As I live in an area with a lot of nighttime noise and traffic, sleeping with the window open is impossible; however, with this fan I have found no need for that this year. I have personally slept every night with the fan on its lowest setting, which provides plenty of cool air due to the large size of the fan. It is very quiet (at least comparative to previous fans) and I currently have it positioned next to the bed yet sleep soundly all night. It has made the summer heat bearable and I am very glad I bought it. Only criticisms I can offer is that the foot supports are a little weak due to being made of a cheap plastic, but if you intend to position it on a flat surface this shouldn't offer any issue. The fan has three settings all of which are relatively quiet. Overall, it's an ideal fan if you're looking for something cheap and simple - it quickly and easily cools the air even on the lowest setting and is ideal for anyone looking for a fan to run at night over the summer.

Disappointing, but does a job
Fiddly to assemble (beware some sharp edges); instructions are only partial & are poor. It works well enough, but motor CLICKS quite NOISILY whether or not the fan is oscillating. Slow speed is too fast & not much different from the other 2 speeds! Overall, not too impressed, but cheap & does shift the air

Best way to cool down
This fan has been excellent join the hot weather I could never have been without it. It’s good quality and stands well. Only one problem is the bottom pieces can drop out the little pieces that go in the socket. But that’s easy to fix..
