In the past, I have been taking 2000 UI of Vitamin D3. During the COVID epidemic, I got an okay from doc to double that dose. However, exceeding the upper limit of safe intake, 4000 IU (100 micrograms) per day, is not recommended. Larger doses have not been linked with any additional health benefits, but could lead to too much calcium in the blood. My doctor recommended alternating higher (5000 UI) and lower doses (2000 UI) to ensure I don't take too much. Expiration May 26, purchased December 23. Greenfield Nutritions HALAL VITAMIN D: This Greenfield nutrition vitamin is excellent. My doctor suggested I take 50000 IU Vitamin D3 once a week, and this vitamin works amazingly. It also supports my immune system and bone health, uplifts mood, and stimulates vibrant hair growth. They came with 5000 IU(125mcg) D3 with 120 unflavored mini soft gel. They are very easy to swallow and have no aftertaste. They are made in the USA and are non-GMO fish oil free,preservative, egg, synthetic color, gluten, dairy free, and 100%halal. I absolutely love to take this vitamin D 3mini soft gel, and I give a star for this vitamin D 3.
