I did a restoration on my trailer last year and while this seemed too good to be true, this connector has been flawless. I made sure I made a good ground connection with the trailer and I've had no issues out of it at all. The previous connector had a weak ground and my truck constantly thought it was disconnecting. As others have probably mentioned, the color coding of the wires is not standard but it comes with a diagram or you can use the guess and check method.

I work on a fleet of open and enclosed utility trailers. As each trailer comes in for wiring and light issues, I have been converting them over to this as it makes a simpler task of wiring the lights and brakes. It keeps everything neat and tidy and out of the weather. I like the longer whip because I can trim the length if I have to. So far I have had no issues on the trailers I have upgraded to this.

A few of The colors are wrong according to all other trailer wiring schematics (ya frustrating) The BIG box works if you need that but the lid does not have any type of water pro gasket, I would not use it mounted sideways! I cut mine off and crimped the wire. With that said the wires were absolutely of copper and the proper gauge that they claimed of some being 10,12 & 14 GA ✔️. Length was also correct (tip to butt)

Happy with the product, but pay attention to the wiring on the connector plug as it is wired for RV code so if you are using it on a utility trailer you may need to switch some wire connections.

Really impressed with this NiLight 7 way harness and junction box. The quality of the coating, right back to the junction box, is 2nd to none! They included some plugs and grommets for wiring which makes waterproofing on my end more simplified. All the wiring was as shown in the diagram and super simple to add my wiring harness into the junction box. The seals appear to seat well and the box is solid once mounted to the frame. I added some NiLight 18W (low amperage draw, still super bright!)spot lamps to the reverse circuit, bumper mounted. Should make those late night pull-ins to site easier😉
