Tunturi S30 S40 Indoor Cycling Spin Bike

First off: the packaging of the bike was abysmal. It came looking like it was from an abandon bottom shelf in long-term storage. Parts of the box had old water-damage. This resulted in a few small spiders crawling out as I opened the box (NO!).The bike came about 80% complete with the actual wheel and given mechanics pre-installed. All I had to install were the front and back base bars, the handle, seat and its support bar. All tools needed to install the bike are included.However, I have 4 issues with the bike and two minor personal preference ones.1) The metal parts of the bike seem pretty solid. But the cheap plastic parts are just that – cheap. Therefore, the black plastic cushion for the handle base came damaged. The top lip of the plastic had completely broken off. I had to pull up the remaining piece with pillars and sort of jimmy-rig it to keep the base in place (you can see in the picture). It does not impact the actual function of the bike, for now. Long-term, I’m not so sure how well it will hold up. This will also hurt the resale value.2) Again, with the cheap plastic part – this time, the cheap black plastic thingy that holds the back bar isn’t cut well to fit. This means the entire seat actually wiggles when you ride. This is unfortunate and perhaps dangerous.3) The LCD display is worthless. It is one of the cheapest thing I have ever held. I was able to turn it on once, but it completely stopped working in seconds. It has not worked since.4) The ride is not smooth. You cannot fully screw on the pedals. And as I pedal standing up, I feel cranks. The wheel also makes noise, louder than you expect.The minor issues:1) The seat – it is narrow and hurts my bottom. I have since replaced the seat with a wider, softer seat.2) I wear a 10.5 men’s size shoes, which means the part that covers the footing is narrow and probably won’t hold up in the long run, especially because it feels so cheap.I contact amazon since they were the seller to see if the parts could be replaced. They told me they couldn’t provide replacement parts, only a full replacement. I don’t want and don’t need a whole new bike for a few cheap pieces. They told me to contact the manufacture instead. I contacted the headquarter company in the Netherlands, and they told me to contact amazon instead since they were the US distributor. Amazon then gave me an 866-number for replacement parts - I'll give them a call soon and will update. Note I also contacted [email protected] a month ago to request a copy of the Manufacturer’s warranty and have not heard anything.This product only had one review at the time and I took a chance. This was a $250 purchase, so I’m stuck with it. But I do wish I had went another brand.

Not a great bike. You get what you pay for for sure. Maybe even less. Seat will not stay flat. I fell off backwards. Be warned. Can’t even contact seller. Also seat and pedals too close to handlebars.

Solid as a rock. Smooth spinning and assembles pretty easily.
