Sea to Summit Waterproof TPU Guide Map Case

Great for use in the Army/selection courses.The things I look for in a map case are ease of opening, accessing my map quickly, and obviously WATERPROOF. Sea to Summit hit all of those points with this product.This map case has a solid seal with positive retention, a clear face allows complete viewing, and loops allow to be worn around your neck.I’ve had this map case in the field many times in humid southern states with zero moisture compromises and have not had to tape any sides up. Pro tip; put a silica gel packet in there as a moisture proofing backup!

It’s sturdy and keeps the water out but it just doesn’t feel worth the money to me. It doesn’t do much more than a cheap plastic paper sleeve and it’s way too hard to close once opened. It’s also kind of a weird size, wide enough but not long enough to fit most maps I’ve used in it.

This has a tough ziplock closure, requires strong fingers, but is truly waterproof. No leaks immersed for an hour in the kitchen sink, no leaks on a kayak for two week trip. Durable so far. Reasonably clear plastic. The roll-top versions are not at all waterproof, they leak almost immediately immersed in the sink, and ona wave-washed kayak deck. I wish there were one size larger for big charts and big solar panels.

We took this on a five-day kayak trip, hopping island to island. The map case kept our charts and other essential info dry. But it was very easy to open it, refold the chart, and close it again. Attach it to your boat's rigging to never lose your maps or have to dig them out of a dry bag in big waves.

this product is great i am a firefighter it works great whin on a roll keeps my maps dry and clean and i can mark on the cover with out marking up my maps i am glad i got this it is amazing wish i got one sooner i will be bying more soon thay are verry durable and will last the long haul

Very high quality. Sadly, it doesn’t fit a standard letter size sheet of printer paper. It’s so close that it’s frustrating. Why didn’t they make it just a few millimeters bigger so anyone could print anything quick and slip it in.

Awesome real world application with this product. I used it for military training and I was greatly impressed. The velcro patches allows you to fold the map for easy storage. The holes on the corners allow for easy connection to a carabiner or s hook. The only complaint I have is the zip lock portion. It is very hard to seal. However, when you finally get it you can be sure the map is waterproof.

This is just what I needed for my 11.6 Tablet!! I have been searching for something to put my table into so that I did not have to worry about it getting scratched or have anything spill on it. This case fits it perfectly!! It seals super tight and is very flexible so I can keep the whole thing in my purse. So glad I found it!!
