This cushion is used by our Dad and he said this is the best one yet. This both boosts height and relieves back pain and seat pain and holds up over time. In fact it's so great he's prefers this one to other cushions he has in the car and requested another one for the kitchen table chair at home. Also, for the first time he insists on having this cushion wherever he is: when he leaves the house and forgets it, he has to turn around and go back in to get it and now won't drive without it; when he gets home and forgets to get it from the car, he will go out to get it before he sits down in the house. For Dad this was useful for boosting height which he needed because he has lost a little of the view he used to have in the car due to aging and spine curvature. Invaluably comfortable. Kudos to the manufacturer of this specific product for making something that Dad says is the best, and that's saying a lot.6MO UPDATE: We bought multiple cushions for Dad so now he has one in every location. The reason we are posting again is because for both the 6 MO most recent cushion as well as the ones we bought earlier 1YEAR+ and running - they are all holding up great with the same outstanding performance for Dad. His bones hurt and this cushion is the only thing that both adds height for driving or sitting at the kitchen table as well as comfort. Has improved daily quality of life. Solid recommendation and kudos to the manufacturer of this product for keeping quality the same even after it got popular.MULTIPLE-YEAR UPDATE: Dad still loves these and they are still holding up, even the original one we bought. I love this cushion. I’m 5’5” and it allows me to see over the dashboard of our truck — I’m a much safer driver when I can see where I’m going! The only caveats are these: The fabric covering the cushion seems like it may wear — stretch out of shape, get dirty (it’s a light(er) color — and need to be replaced or recovered, but that’s easy to do and the cover has a zipper so you can take it off, wash it, and replace it easily. The cushion itself, when on the seat of our 2017 Nissan Titan XD, only “cushions” about 3/4 of your legs; in other words, it doesn’t reach all the way to behind your knees. This doesn’t bother me, but it does bother my husband. He’s 5’11” — if that makes a difference. Still, it doesn’t bother him enough to not use the cushion. I’ve spent the whole day driving and I notice that there’s a little bit of compression at the end of the day, but it’s still much better than sitting on the folded quilt I WAS using, and a 100% improvement over no cushion at all. I’ve tried lots of cushions and this one is the least compressible and the most comfortable.

I bought this chair pad for my office chair, to deal with some piriformis pain (muscle in the butt cheek.) I am a small person (115 lbs). I've had the cushion about 1 week and it provides a very firm memory foam type feel. If you are looking for a soft cushion - this is not that type of cushion, but if you're a smaller person looking for a firm support you might appreciate this. At my weight the cushion does compress but not too much. It behaves like memory foam - when you get up in goes back to full size. Also - I just realized I was sitting on it backwards - with the raised part and words "comfy cush" toward the back - that was backwards. you should put that part at the front of your chair, and this feels better already! While I might need something less firm for my particular injury, I will keep this because it is nice quality and I think will be great if you have to remain seated for a long time, or to relieve pressure spots. It would also be good for stadiums/bleachers, although the cover is not meant for all-weather.

I sit at my computer in a fairly new, well cushioned executive chair for hours a day. My lower back has had problems my whole life since getting speared in football in High School. Nonetheless I am still athletic and like to stay active. Back spasms have always been a part of my life and most of that comes from sitting a long time while working at my computer. This is my 4th day with the cushion and I must say I thought it was too firm at first. However, after giving a try for two hours at a time over the last few days my back feels much better. If you are light this is going to raise you a couple inches higher on your chair. I am 225lbs and I get all the support I need. If this cushion never squishes under my weight this will be the best back and butt support cushion I have ever experienced. So far, a great product at a great price of $29.00.

I bought this cushion for an upcoming trip I was taking which would require a 5 hour plane ride. I'm 5'7" tall and weigh 190 lbs. Riding on planes is extremely uncomfortable for me as the economy seats do not have enough cushioning in the seat. Typically, after about an hour or so in flight it gets very painful for me to sit in an airline seat, so I bought this item specifically to see if it would make the flight more bearable. Short answer: YES! This was the first time in a very long time that I could sit through an entire 5 hour flight in comfort.I've also used this in a rental car on 2+ hour drives and on my desk chair; found it also works well in these situations. My only complaint about the product is that it was somewhat larger than I expected but its my fault for not reading the description. Another thing is that the zipper for the cushion is not that easy to open or close. Otherwise, this item did exactly what it said it would - making sitting in a chair comfortable!
