Jesus Calling: 365 Devotions For Kids

I enjoy doing these devotions in the morning with my kids. They don’t take long to do and they open up conversations about Jesus and everyday life for kids. I love that. Definitely geared towards children over the age of 5, but easy to understand for anyone over that age. Love it!

From day one. It's amazing. Written as if God is speaking to your child in a very gentle voice. I love this and my son does too. We've had a lot of these types of books that Starr strong but fizzle out and end up on the bookshelf. This one is by the bed and read each night. I can't speak to the entire series, but the 1 is great.

This is an excellent kids devotional book. My oldest daughter gave me an adult version of a “Jesus Calling” women’s devotional book, many years ago that I love and still have today, so I bought this child’s version for my granddaughter who just turned eight years old. This devotional book is excellent in quality and in scripture verses for each daily devotional. Great Purchase! She loves it!

I have given this book as a gift several times. This book is so sweet and so helpful for Christian parents trying to reinforce Gods role in their families’ lives . It’s a great reminder for families to keep their focus on God especially when the world seems to be piling them away from Him. A definite must have for school aged children that may have anxiety and need to be reminded of Gods love. This book is such a gift and our family has really enjoyed reading the daily messages together

Great for my grandchildren!

I bought this devocional for my daughter a few months ago, and she read this every night, it's easy to read and navigate through the pages for her and she enjoy looking up the verses in her Bible

I first saw this outstanding book in books a million. I wanted to buy it, but it wasn’t the right time. I’d heard great things about Jesus calling, so I knew this book would be awesome! I had my heart set on buying it, so checked on Amazon. And sure enough, the price was lower. So I got it and it arrived shortly after. It has a devo for every day of the year, a verse for each day, and a couple verse references to look up on your own in your Bible! I even kept a notebook to right down notes, because this book it definitely note-worthy! If I’m ever feeling down, I whip out this book along with my Bible and soon I’m feeling better! If you’re looking for a way to better your relationship with Jesus, this is the book for you! I feel Jesus Calling every time I read this book. Well done author Sarah Young!

I have the adult version of this book. I enjoyed it so much that I bought the kids’ version for my 9yo son. I thought it would be geared towards kid issues—friendships, dealing with change, conflict resolution, trusting God, etc. This book is almost exactly the adult version. Too similar to warrant this book. I was going to return it but the shipping to return makes it not worth it. I will probably end up gifting it to teenager. I would not recommend it for kids. Hence 4 stars.

I LOVE this book and read it every morning, perfect for kids and adults!

This devotional is amazing and I'm going to try and get a copy for every kid in our Sunday school. I've used it in teaching and the readings are so to the point. If you are a parent even you may get a lot of discussion and good conversations with your kids. I love reading the adult version, too. It has impacted my faith life and strengthened it. And the devotionals sparked some short lessons on days when we didnt have curriculum to teach on. Also to note the content is simply written enough for any age or background of child, but those gentle, short lessons can be so big!

A must have in every home. Let God guide you everyday.

we used this one together with other jesus calling adult prayer book every night to do our bible sharing with my daughter. she is 7 yo. easy for her to comprehend and explain things she learned based on what she had read.
