Great whey protein isolate
Edit - March 2017 Fairly certain the formula changed in some way. New container of strawberry looks, mixes, and tastes differently. Old label - Whey Isolate, Natural and artificial Chocolate Flavour, Xanthan Gum, Sucralose. New label - Whey Isolate, Natural Strawberry Flavor, Soy Lecithin, Beet Powder, Bromelain, Sucralose. Both of those lists are from a strawberry container. Friend uses the same product, he notices the change as well. The protein outright looks different (not nearly as pick, more towards a light orange), mixes far differently, and doesn't have as sweet of a taste. Pros? The change makes it mix far better than it used to. Doesn't clump at all, it's not too far from MuscleTech or ON at this point. It still tastes pretty good. It doesn't have an overwhelming strawberry taste anymore (which I will miss), but it still tastes pretty good, in some ways better. I recently bought a few badges of MuscleTech Milk Chocolate protein, I do prefer that chocolate over Goliath's, however I don't know if the chocolate changed as well. Would definitely buy Goliath over the MuscleTech, as the Goliath is pure Isolate, compared to a mixture. Cons? Someone asked if the formula change, seller denied any changes, just a "label update". I don't trust that. I've gone through too many containers of this protein to not notice the change. Original - I guess I'm one of the few that don't see this protein as "too sweet". I think it's great. Taste and mixability is not as good as ON Whey Isolate, but is very close to half the price per scoop. I use a Contigo mixer bottle with a blender ball around Cintigo's mixing ball, which in combination mixes seems to anything pretty well. This protein does take quite a bit more shaking to mix it compared to any other brand I've had. I have both the chocolate and vanilla containers, friend got the strawberry. All mix great in a mixer bottle if you apply 2-3x (20-30 seconds, possibly a little more) more effort then other proteins. Would sitll highly recommend, will definitely be ordering mos I may be a bit biased as I'm switching from a cheaper Costco's MuscleMilk protein, which is basically a bag of sweetener. After drinking that for a few months, I don't think anything will be "too sweet" for anymore.

AWESOME!! SUPERB PRICE!!! TASTES DECENT TOO!
I purchased this for 39.99 and at the time of this review, these are now 42.99. DO NOT be surprised if the price goes up again very soon! So, get yours now!!! I ordered 10 lbs. (2*5 lbs.), and tried it out. I then immediately ordered an additional 10 lbs. This stuff is phenomenal for the price!! Even Whey Concentrate would be considered reasonably priced for this cost (Isolate is more expensive because of some extra filtration). The ONLY complaint I have (and trust me, it's worth dealing with) this flavor and the chocolate do not instantly mix with a spoon; not even close. Even with a shaker, there still might be a few clumps after several minutes of shaking on the way out of the gym to my car. Even still, the tiny clumps are kind of delicious! lol. That minor setback aside, this is a no-brainer!! If these are still in the low $40's for a 5 lb. container, stock up now!! That price will NOT last!!

Product not the same as before
The formulation of this shake is not the same as before. First, when I opened it, it has a certain perfume like smell. Secondly, I reacted to something in the Shake. Right when I started using it for like 4 days, I broke up in hives and rash all over my body and I could not stop itching. I went to the doctor and that’s when he asked if I had used something new. I stopped using it and got on medication. It took few days to get better. I have another person using it say the same. The taste and smell is awful and she used it twice only. I need my money back. Only you guys know what’s different in it. No more. Unfortunately I have to look for another brand.

Very glad I waited and bought this over Costco bulk options
Very glad I waited and bought this over Costco bulk options. This is perfect for what I wanted. Cold filtered, unaltered pure iso protein. Ok, ingredients say it has some Xanthun Gum but that's it. Highest % of protein to gram content I've found since doing my research. Tastes like powdered milk just a bit weaker. Isn't thick like protein powders I used to take in high school. Actually, mixed into about 240z it's very watery which is not surprising as the directions say to mix with 16oz but it's really up to you. I'm so glad I got this and not stuck with some chocolate/vanilla/strawberry crap full of useless sugars and other crap. Feeling very clean taking this stuff. Oh, and mixes well using a blender bottle. Just about 20-30 seconds of easy does it shaking makes it fine to drink. No complaints on bubbles/foam not that I've ever cared with other products to begin with. Good stuff hope the company stays around for a long time. HEY SEND ME SOME FREE STUFF I'LL DO MORE REVIEWS FOR YOU! <lol, but for real.

Decent For The Price But Mixability Takes Some Getting Used To
As S.K. Hayward mentioned in his review, this is pretty good for the price if all you're looking for is the protein content but it really doesn't mix very well in water, juice, or whole milk. It mixes a bit better with non-fat or 1%/2% milk but only just a little. Not by much, if at all. Taste wise, it's a bit on the sweet end if you try to mix one full scoop in whole milk. It tastes less sweet if you put in half of a scoop in whole milk (scooper is provided in the plastic bag, by the way). Unlike other whey protein brands (Optimum Nutrition, Dymatize), this brand gives you a scooper with a longer plastic handle. I also agree with the above reviewer that you need to let it sit in your cup for a good 15-20 minutes after stirring with a spoon. It dissolves very slowly which is the main drawback I have with this product. I didn't notice any aftertaste when I've tried it but I guess I might just be used to that " chemical taste" that all the whey protein products tend to have. Also, the "tearable" portion of the bag is poorly designed. It ripped too easily but it's possible to rip it to the point where it crosses over into the "sealable" portion of the bag, thereby, making it unsealable. Maybe they should "perforate" the bag rather than leave it free hanging like that with no particular "tearing direction" I guess one can say. Fortunately, I kept some old 5 lb plastic jugs of Optimum Nutrition's protein containers and poured it into that container. In any case, it's cheap, under $50 for a 5 lb bag, it's quality protein isolates, it doesn't cause bloating, and that's about it. If that's all you care about, this is a good deal. Otherwise, if taste and mixability are a concern, I would suggest Dymatize or Optimum Nutrition. **UPDATE**: I've figured out a way to mix the protein powder without it needing time to "sit and dissolve." For every full rounded scoop of powder, add only 4 ounces of whatever liquid you'd prefer. I use whole milk and I've found that the less liquid used initially will help it dissolve faster. Once you've stirred it into a fine paste (takes about a minute and 30 seconds of continuous stirring in clockwise and then counter clockwise motion), you can add more milk and stir for another 30 seconds until you get the right consistency for you to drink it. Hope this helps!

One of the best Whey Isolates you can buy.
I am in my 40s and have worked out consistently 4-5 days a week for the last 8 years. Whey is a staple in my high protein diet, and I have used many different products over the years. Whey isolate is the proven best whey to consume. I began using Goliath labs whey about a year and half ago... Not only was it one of the best priced for 10lb that I found... It was also an excellent quality. I have been using it ever since WITH great results. Excellent flavor, consistency, and they have always delivered on time (early most of the time). If you take your workouts seriously, don't waste your time on the whey concentrates and other garbage out there... Try this product. This is a voluntary review and I am not paid nor given product in trade for this review.

Best Kept Secret
I'm not gonna lie, I was skeptical about this because of the fact I never heard of this protein, like Optimum Nutrition. 81 servings of 24g of protein at 117 calories at about $45 was too good to pass up though. Great whey protein at a very good price, especially for a whey isolate. The chocolate flavor is actually very good. One of the better tasting ones I have had. I am not sure what someone was talking about when they said it's hard to mix. I use a blender bottle, like I do with all whey proteins in the past and this was one of the easiest whey proteins to mix. I'm hoping that not too many people find about this protein, so the price doesn't increase. As of right now, this whey protein is a nice kept secret and will buy again when I run out. I think I found my permanent post-workout whey protein going forward.

Product switch
After happily re-buying this product many, many times, always vanilla, I simply hit "order again." I did Not expect or notice that for the first time the default flavor, vanilla, was changed to strawberry. Vanilla has always been outstanding. Strawberry tastes like perfume water. Please understand, this is an outstanding product that checks all the boxes. I have to believe this was an Amazon bot issue, not a Goliath substitute.
