Excellent Hatch Chili Powder
Excellent flavor! Just the right amount of heat for making a savory enchilada sauce. That deep red color is beautiful. Adds a richness to chili. Braise chicken in broth, hatch chili powder garlic, onion, cumin and salt, then shred for tacos, enchiladas, stuffed poblanos. I even add some to my BBQ rubs. Good value!

Great for Posole
but it is odd: I bought the mild also so that I could mix together to tone it down for the kids but this one was not much hotter (plenty hot though) Great flavor. I felt like in Hatch,

Amazing balanced spice.
Very high quality spice. If you are unfamiliar it is similar to a sharp hot paprika or cayenne type blend. This has a unique flavor profile that I use for many things including chili and sometimes just a dusting over an ordouvre.

Truly hot and spicy!
My husband and I are always looking for a red chili powder with that deep, roasted, chili taste. We like it to be truly hot also. This chili powder is the real deal! His family is from the four corners area of Dulce, New Mexico. We live near Tahoe now and could never find a chili powder that tasted like what he had as a child. Sadly, now that we have found what we love, it is no longer available. * I see it is in stock again and I immediately ordered more!

Love it
It’s difficult if not impossible to find “Hot” in any store unless you live in NM. Anywhere else and everything is toned down to bland. I’m thrilled to be able to get it on line
