Wow, best ice breaker I've found
Barfly M37062 Ice Pick Chipper. It's more like an "ice fork". I have a few other ice chippers: an ice pick, an ice hammer, and an ice tapper. This is the only one that really works. I used an ice tapper for years and it did a good job until the metal ball broke off, then an ice hammer that just made a mess, and an ice pick that is just plain dangerous and not very effective, especially when it goes straight through the ice and into the table... This one breaks up clunks much better without ice flying everywhere, you don't need to hit the ice as hard, just a bit more strategically. You can still hit the ice with so much force that it shatters the ice and keeps going through the bag or to the table, but nowhere near as bad as an ice pick. I've only used it on frozen bags of store-bought ice cubes, not on a big block of ice, but there is a metal cap on the handle so you could pound it with a hammer if necessary.

I love this product! I’ve had ice picks in the past and they were awful to work with. This pick/chipper breaks up the ice with ease and quickly. I highly recommend this product for use, quality and price!

Handle is for looks, not functionality
The wooden handle on the ice chipper has a strange taper that does not lend a confident grip when chipping ice. It's held on with a heavy metal base that screws onto the central shaft and makes it even more handle-heavy. I got a different brand of rubber-handled 6-prong ice chipper on here and it's much easier to use, albeit not as classy-looking.

Worked only OK a couple of times. Not super pointed, but OK. Fell apart 3rd time using it.

I freeze tuber ware to make blocks of ice then chip it to what ever size we need thank you~

Low quality pick, broke first day
Item broke on the first day, the picks bent while I was picking ice. Surprised on the low quality as my other barfly items all seem built well.

Came unscrewed at both the handle and prongs. Thought I’d get quality…got junk instead. Instant return.
