The one I bought my wife for V-day is about 8" across the bottom seam, but is more like 9"+ practical width. It stands over 9" tall. It is surprisingly wide when filled up with stuff. She likes it because it is a more compact carry for warmer months (yes it has been warm for over a month here in GA's March. The matching adjustable and wide strap is a much enjoyed accessory, and the Laurel Burch graphics and accoutrements draw a lot of complements...she is happy. Regards from the peach state!
