HOW TO DISH UP COLD FOOD ON THE SALT PLATE: Place salt crystal tile in the refrigerator for one hour to chill. The salt will hold back its temperature for 2—3 hours. When chilled you can serve salads, fruits, vegetables, sushi and desserts. HOW TO PRESENT HOT FOOD ON SALT PLATES:Put salt tile in oven or grill at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Once the tile is hot, place meat on it and put it back in the oven or on the grill. The hot plate will cook and season your steak, lamb, fish, shrimp etc at thesame time. HOW TO CLEAN THE PINK SALT PLATE:Simply clean off the salt plate with a scrubbie under cold water for a few seconds, getting rid of the top layer of salt.  Then wipe dry with a paper towel.   No extra cleansing is required, since the salt tile is naturally antibacterial.
