This is magic!
We had the floors replaced in our entire house. Some things are just so heavy to push around even with sliders, sometimes the sliders don’t stay where they should & I didn’t want my new floors scratched! You just get this sheet under all or part if whatever you want to move & pull, that’s it. I weigh 110 & can move pretty much anything in my house, by myself. The little air pillows that you pump up will raise the edge enough to get it underneath, deflate & remove that & off you go! I definitely recommend. Oh and be sure there is no grit or dirt in your path or that could scratch the floor!

Almost Perfect
Although I will likely use it to move an appliance in the future, my main purpose for buying this mat was to move loads of yard debris (bundled in a tarp) up my steep backyard hill. In doing that, I will say it has made my job a LOT easier. The mat itself is rather heavy, which surprised me, so it does add more to the weight up my load going uphill than I anticipated. However - it does glide nicely over dirty, gravel and concrete stairs, so I can definitely get more uphill in one load by myself than I ever could before. My main disappointment is with the pull strap, and I would say the same thing even if I was using this to move a refrigerator. It's a cheap afterthought and hard on the hand being so narrow. It also slides back and forth on the opening in the plastic breaking your confidence on the pull. It doesn't match the heftiness that you should have when moving heavy objects. I will likely cut this one off and add a wider one that is also thicker and has a decent handle (not just a fabric loop) to grab onto. Otherwise, the mat itself is great quality, but one star off for the cheap pull strap. Not using the strap is really not an option either. It would be difficult to grab onto just the hand hole (which has sharp edges by the way) and try to pull from the ground level. Too hard on the back with zero leverage.

A lifesaver for our DIY flooring project!
I typically only write reviews for products I think are truly awesome. This is one of those products. My husband and I had the insane idea to install our own flooring. Those DIY videos you see on HGTV or YouTube made it look so easy! They don’t explain all the work that goes into making complicated cuts to fit around walls and corners! But I digress. We needed to move our refrigerator which seemed equivalent in weight to a baby elephant. Most refrigerators, including ours, have wheels on the bottom that help it move back and forth, but NOT side to side. As you can see from my photos, we have a very narrow galley style kitchen. Not only did we need to move our refrigerator out of its alcove, but we also needed to slide it sideways to get it out of the kitchen area. We wanted to lay down flooring in the little alcove. This product helped us do that. It’s such a simple design but it totally works! We simply put the plastic “mat” in front of the fridge, slid the fridge onto the mat, then pulled (with a good deal of effort) to slide the fridge out of our narrow kitchen. It helped us also move our fridge back into place once we finished the floors. Without it, the fridge would have certainly scratched and damaged our newly finished floor! This plastic “mat” was a total lifesaver for us. I was very pleased. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to move something heavy. You might still need two people, like we did to actually stabilize and move the item, but without this product, we could not have finished our flooring project. I’m going to keep it in our tiny garage, which is short on space as it is, in the event we need to move out any other appliances in the future for repair or replacement.

Well worth the money
We have a small laundry room and needed to move a 350 pound LG washer/dryer combo machine. It was installed in the room by a couple of guys with those back straps that lifts it straight up and they walk together with it. We cannot use a regular dolly in this room because there's no way to tilt it. So this thing worked like a champ. We pulled the machine out and around to our dining room very smoothly. My only complaint is that it needs to have handles on both ends of the mat. It would keep us from having to spin the machine around on the mat. Anyway, It worked great and saved us from having to hire out movers to come and do this for us.

Moved a hot tub
Didn't come with arm straps. That's when I gave it 3 stars. Amazon said I would have to return them and have them resent to me to get the straps. They are quite large and returning them would have been a pain. I ended out using ratchet straps instead. I bought them to help me move a full-sized outdoor hot tub. With a combination of PVC pipes as rollers and these mats and 3 men, it was pretty easy to move on over grass on It's side.

Heavy Duty
I really should have bought the two smaller separate strips. I was not thinking of how big this was. So measure first. I have a galley kitchen. I just put in porcelain flooring. I did not think of when I need to pull the stove or refridge out to clean. It is a beast of a project without trying to scratch the flooring. Anyway. I used this to practice pulling out the stove and fridge. Stove was easy, fridge was a bit more tricky to lift, but once on, made it easy. The Galley kitchen is tight without this hitting the counters across from it. I put a scratch in the new cabinet. I do see this as very useful moving other furniture. I have it stored between the refridge and the wall.

* received about one week after order * good size for moving large appliances * we had our maple floor refinished * 2 weeks later used this to move fridge * very disappointed that the feet of the fridge left scratch/moving marks thru this plastic sheet - I guess it isn't thick enough to prevent the depression from the feet. We had marks from when we rotated the plastic sheet and when we pulled the plastic sheet. * fridge was empty and smaller (counter depth) size.
