Eaves protectors
These are great value and are sturdy to use. I had stains on my black facia, I assume from rain water running down. I have fitted these between the first and second row of tiles and they go into the gutter. Hopefully it will stop the problem, but time will tell.

Great product
Does exactly what it says. Fits perfectly under the old felt and over the edge of the gutter. Good quality slippy material. Very happy - would recommend this product.

Roof Repairs
Bought these to repair along the eaves of a corrugated iron / steel roof on a wooden outbuilding. The old corrugated roof sheets are generally OK but have rotted along the eaves edges so that water was running down behind the fascia boards into the wall rather than into the gutter. Removed the guttering and roof fixings at eaves level, pushed the protectors up under the corrugated sheets leaving about 12" overlap between each protector, then re-installed new fixings through the corrugated sheet and protectors to hold the whole lot in place and reinstalled the guttering. Its a slightly unconventional use for the protectors and the shape is not a perfect match to the old roof structure, so I wasn't sure it would work. But having completed the front of the building back in October it seems to be doing the job pretty well so far. The protectors guide the rainwater from the corroded ends of the corrugated roofing sheets down into the guttering, so the walls stay dry. And the protectors fit up far enough under the corrugated sheet that even with the storms we had during November/December the water was kept out.The protectors are rigid enough to be able to push them up under the corrugated sheets without needing to remove any of them, but with enough flex to be able to follow the general line of the roof (its an old wooden building and the roofline is no longer level). And its easy enough to drive the roofing screws through the protectors and into the wooden roof structure without needing to drill holes in the protectors.Happy with the results so far and planning to carry out similar repairs on the rear of the building in the Spring.
