Quest Nutrition Protein Bar, S'mores, 2.12 oz

These bars taste so gross! I bought a sample bar of S'Mores, Chocolate Brownie, Banana Nut and Apple Pie. First, I tried the S'Mores. Forget the fact that it made me sick, it tasted disgusting. The weird texture, I could handle, but the taste, nothing like S'Mores. I wasn't expecting them to be yummy, as they are protein bars, but I do expect them to at least taste edible. I forced two small bites in the morning and immediately started feeling sick. Not thinking anything of it, after I started to feel better, I tried two more tiny bites, and again, I felt sick. My 13 year old daughter wanted to try the other three with me, so I will let you know how that went. First, we tried the Chocolate Brownie. We both thought it tasted the same, like fingernail polish remover. So gross. Hard and chewy nail polish remover. Nope! Next, we tried the Banana Nut. This wasn't AS terrible as the other two, but still didn't taste good. It was hard and chewy and had a weird taste to it, and wasn't even slightly appetizing to either one of us. That's another huge nope! Last, we tried the Apple Pie. I've never been a big fan of Apple Pie, so I wasn't really looking forward to it, but it was definitely the best one of the four. It had decent flavor, was soft and not quite as chewy as the others. It still wasn't great, but for a protein bar, I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5 for taste. All in all, while I hate that I paid $8 for these four bars, I'm glad I did the samples instead of paying so much for a whole box of these things. I realize that everyone's tastes are different, but I really don't see how anyone can choke down these things. Sorry, but I won't be buying these again.

These nutrition bars are by far the best and the s'mores is one of my favorites also the white chocolate raspberry is sooooo good. They come in many flavors and I haven't tried them all yet, but there is lots of time !!!

I was ordering cases of quest bars. They range between $20-$30 for a 12 pack. I didn’t even think to look at the description to see that this was a single bar because it was $24! I know it’s my fault for not paying attention, but who would 1 single bar cost as much as an entire box of 12? It’s a lso not returnable, so I’m stuck with this super expensive quest bar.

Amazon had these on sale and I heard the Hype about Quest Bars so I bought one of each flavor that looked good. I don't know how these bars have a following. They taste like I imagine dog excrement to taste.The bars also were extremely hard.Will stick to One Bars which are similar in nutrition, better flavors, and cheaper too.

Quest bars taste great but over the last few years the ingredients have gotten a little :P Since they switched to corn fiber (could never get an answer from company on if they are GMO corns used) and started loading the sugar alcohols on, I only eat them on occasion. Used to be a lot cleaner. But don’t get me wrong, they are still probably the best tasting whey protein bar out there.

They are selling 1 bar not a box!!!! I was shown a box of twelve and received 1 bar for an outrageous price!!!! I can't return it and they will not send the rest of the bars. Very unfriendly policy.

Great texture, very little after taste. Will definitely buy again.
