Awesome value for real, super-clear non-lead (modern and safe) TITANIUM Crystal. These are huge glasses, the sort people sometimes make fun of. Yep, they hold 1/2 a bottle of wine. But they do hold and concentrate the aromas of wines in the big bowl to inhale as you sip, and that adds a LOT to wine-drinking. As a bonus, these are big enough to double-duty as waters or as frozen-concoction glasses, from a strawberrita to serving ice cream or similar. You could even make small trifles in them. This is SZ's strongest style, with their heaviest stems, but it doesn't seem "massive." The bowls ring and they sing, as good crystal should do both, in clear tones. A bonus of the size is that washing is easier than with a wee little white as some make them, that you can't really get into.Nice style/shape, feel a little lighter in weight than a leaded glass version would be expected to feel, but if it means I don't go crazy as soon, I'm all for it. These appear to be hand-finished but largely machine made. I may be wrong, but believe I read that on SZ's site. Great value for the set, arrived super fast and almost comically over packed for a trip to another planet!

Many years ago I bought a 12 pc set of these glasses at Sur La Table and absolutely love them. They look elegant but can go in the dishwasher without any clouding (add vinegar). While moving I realized that we had one “missing” — which leads me to think it broke somewhere along the way. So I went looking for more of this style and found it at Amazon. I ordered another 12 glasses and they arrived, looking just like the old ones that I had. I’m hoping that they are the same great quality and break resistant. I also decided to order the matching water glasses. The ones I had were just glass and you could definitely see the difference. I’ve sold what is left of my sets of Reidel glasses. Too delicate and too much work. This Schott Zwiesel glass is the perfect size for any type of wine.

The wine glasses are super well made. We really liked the clarity. The weight of them seems like they will be pretty durable. And even though they give you the size when we received they were smaller than we expected. We haven’t seen a smaller wine glass like this in a longtime. But for us the clarity and ease of washing these are a plus.

These are well made. Good value for the money. They look much nicer than the Amazon picture shows. Very clear and bright, there is no dark tinge to the crystal. Lightweight crystal "Feel" in the hand, not heavy glass. Nice thin polished rim. Holds a full pint of beer with room to spare for the head.

I purchased these for patio dining & was completely impressed that they are so thin & classy, whether you’re having wine, martini, or soda. I bought all & I love them. No one even suspects they are break resistant since they feel so delicate.

These glasses are really wonderful for the wine enthusiast. First, these glasses are a titanium Crystal. Since there is no lead in these glasses, there is no chance of lead leaching into your beverage. They are incredibly strong and break resistant. I have lost many expensive crystal wine glasses while washing them in the sink because I just accidentally tap them against the sink. With theses glasses, I have not broken one yet, even duringing all the parties and holiday dinners during the past season. They can be washed in the dishwasher without fear of them the coming cloudy from tiny scratches. The glass is designed So it requires a wine drinker to fill the glass only about a third full. This allows the wine drinker to completely immerse the nose within the glass to fully enjoy the wine with the palate and the nose. We are really enjoying these glasses!

I was a little hesitant to purchase these--I was unsure about the size about the quality... just really hesitant to purchase glassware without actually holding it in my hands first. These are perfect for cordials, liqueurs or even ice wines. The glasses are small (only 2.5 oz) so they work for anything you only want to serve in small portions. The weight is good, and as small as they are they feel substantial. I was a bit worried about them being top heavy, but this is not the case. I am very happy I took a chance with these glasses and would buy them again if I have the need!

Looks better than my old ones

I had previously ordered this from Warehouse deals and it was a budget brand named Design and Value. I hypothesize that this was a budget brand owned by Schott Zwiesel. Unfortunately, they arrived broken. With that said, I re-bought them anyway.Despite them being broken, they are the most durable crystal glasses I have ever seen. The packaging was just horrible. The top of the glass is quite thin so that's where it can be broken. But I tested some other glasses and around half the bowl to below it, you can hit the glass very hard with a hammer and it will resonate wildly loudly but will not break. I am not exaggerating.Upon reordering, it is clear that these are not Design and Value but are Schott Zwiesel glasses. I guess they must have merged the Design and Value line into their main brand?

Good brand of glasses, good quality. Delicate but not too delicate. Just right.

Simple design, yet classy and beautiful. Heavy and thick glass, yet very comfortable to hold, fit perfectly in a palm of the hand. Perfect size - 511 ml or 17.03 Oz. Cannot be smaller, but anything bigger, would be too big.

Although the glasses were more than satisfactory one had a chip in the lip of it. Was not worth the hassle of returning them all to get the one replaced when I tried so just kept it as is.
