TYC83-11 Fd Crn Vctra Blower Assy

Easy install, fit perfectly, works great. Very quiet as well. Important to note these are for 1994-2008 models, I saw some people giving negative reviews due to it not fitting later models. (Installed in a 2007 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor)

I do wish that I did not have to use a pigtail, but the item came with two different ones and instructions. The item was packaged well and was an exact replacement for the one in my 2006 Ford Crown Victoria police interceptor. Two gaskets were provided one did not have the right holes the bigger one did and I was able to use it unlike some other reviews that I had heard or read. Overall, the product is good and working as of today. For the value, I think it is a great product and I anticipated working for a long time and if not, it’s easy to replace an affordable to to buy another one.

Can't believe the low price for the complete blower assy. Also included plug pigtails for older and newer modles and two different gaskets. Took about 20 minutes to remove and replace this. On 02 Crown Vic (and I'm sure other models too) you have to have a small socket or box wrench (8mm) to remove and replace the lower left screw. It is very tight against the wheel well. Stick the gasket in place first then install the fan being careful that you don't knock the gasket off center. I used some double-sided sticky tape to hold gasket in place. Fixed my squeaky sound when running the heater. **(I'm taking on Star away because the blower does not run as fast/hard as the old one. It takes considerably longer to defrost the windshield and side windows due to the slower speed. I will replace the blower switch when the weather is warmer and see if that helps, but I doubt it!) ***I replaced the entire dash switch assy. It did not make any difference in the blower efficiency.

It comes with 2 different wiring harnesses, easy install. Took about 20 mins. YouTube videos helped quite a bit.

Update: 7-11-2024This motor has been doing great in the Las Vegas Heat for almost a week now.I did have to cut the ends of one of the provided wiring adapters to make it fit my vehicle, but other than that it has been great.. and cheap...Update:7-7-2024:I broke off the guide tabs and installed it with the 4 bolts.I then cut the ends of the wires from one of the wire adapters and installed 2 male slot ends and just pushed those into the cars female slots on the cars wiring harness.It now works fine...The problem is the quality of the connectors at the end of the includes wiring harnesses..I will keep it for now...7-6-2024The unit will not bolt on the car because the holes for the guide pins are not Drilled in the correct spots.I will not cut off the guide pins on my car to make this fit.Then...The wire adapters connect at the blower motor but are so loose on the side where it connects to the cars wiring harness connector, that it will not power the motor.I used my own wiring set up to test if it will run and it does, but not with the wire adapters that come with it.Next...

This product is high quality at a respectfully price, came with 2- adaptors to cover over many years the crown Victoria was produced. The adaptors were packaged with easy to use instructions and packaged well/would recommend this purchase.
