Unlike me, please make sure you allow for the fact that the length this will hang down will depend on the diameter of the tree branch you wrap this around. I initially ordered the 12" length, but quickly realised my error.... doh!. I've kept it as it is a well-made product, and I can use it on one of the lower hanging, thinner branches on my tree but have now ordered a much longer version so that once it's fixed up and the bird feeder is attached I can still reach the feeder to refill it each day.

I bought this to work with my squirrel-proof bird feeder.Although it is indeed strong enough to prevent the squirrels from breaking in, they soon worked out that by balancing from a branch with their hind-legs, they could prevent the cage from closing and still get a few nuts.That's where this Hang-Right comes in. It allowed me to move the feeder to drop from a longer branch. I have seen a squirrel go along the branch and contemplate jumping onto the feeder but deciding against it. Birds 1 - Squirrels 0 (FT).All in all, this is a good, strong cable that does the job well.

Easy to use, does it's job and not overly expensive. It has stopped the furry pests from chewing through and breaking feeders on the ground. I bought the shorter and longer versions, the longer making it easier to hang feeders higher in a tree.

I find that they are really easy to put up and the plastic tube that covers the wire stops the wire biting into the bark of the tree, preventing damage. It is a cinch to hang your feeder or take it down for refilling since it just hangs on the little strong hook at the bottom. The variety in the lengths these come in allows you to choose the best length to avoid predators reaching your birds when they are feeding.Perfect - highly recommended clever product!

Fine for the intended purpose. Please note that the length is the straight wire. Once wrapped around the branch this will shorten so check the diameter of your branch and take this into consideration!
