wonderful price when everything in this hobby is so expensive. it was easy to install, does what it supposed to. i work at a welding company & this is just as good as some of the heavy duty regulars we send out. no leaks, aesthetically pleasing, & a solid piece of equipment.

Coming back to write this review after owning it for about 4 years now, and consistently run for about 3 years (roughly about two 1.5 year stretches with a 6 month storage break in a hot garage). This unit is robust and has been pretty solid and it just works.Tonight, the o-ring failed on the unit (hissing at the bottle nozzle and I felt escaping CO2 at the connection between the unit and the CO2 bottle) and I was able to very easily replace the o-ring with the included spares and get the regulator back up and running within minutes. The construction of the unit is not to blame at all, it was just likely time for the o-ring to call it quits.The included extra o-rings are just a smart choice, and the unit overall has been running for about 1.5 years straight on an 8 hour on-16 hour off cycle with it's most recent stint. The solenoid does get very warm but it doesn't seem to have affected the operation over time. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and the quality of the regulator.

It's just so frustrating...I purchased this regulator & got it installed less than a week ago. I've purchased FZONE equipment in the past for other aquariums, and I was very pleased with the overall quality of this regulator when I unboxed it. Set-up was very straight forward, and everything was operating normally during this first week that I've had it.Yesterday I heard a hissing sound coming from the regulator. I could tell right away that the issue was not coming from the main connection between the regular and the CO2 tank...That was fine.When I took a closer look, I thought the issue was with one of the threaded connections from one of the gauges, into the metal housing of the regulator. However, this was not the case either.It turns out that the leak was actually coming from the Outlet Pressure Gauge itself! The metal seam along the outside of the gauge was leaking CO2.I'm hoping that this is a case of just a little bad luck...my past experience with FZONE products has been positive. I'm within the Amazon return window, so I will look to get a replacement. If the replacement unit is trouble-free, I'll gladly edit this review rating to something more appropriate.Review Updates (4/26/25):The Amazon return & replacement went process quick and pain-free (as it usually is). The new regulator was installed and running within about day.I would like to specifically comment about the FZONE Customer Service Team. They were incredibly attentive to my issues, and were eager to help me resolve any problems I was having with the regulator. I had several communications with them throughout the Amazon product-return process. Because I was well-within the normal Amazon return window, I chose that route to expedite things. However, after speaking with them on this issue, I'm confident that FZONE would be there to assist me if I needed any assistance during the products warranty period. Please be sure to provide them with the requested warranty information after purchase.I felt these comments were important, because as a frequent Amazon shopper, comments regarding customer service often makes a difference in my purchasing habits.

I was very excited for this product. Reading on the company website and through the reviews here, I was excited as it seemed people were generally satisfied and the company cared about putting a good product out there.I plugged the device into a timer. I tested a couple times and could hear the valve opening and closing as I added and removed power. Unfortunately, the valve does not close and CO2 continued to be released into the tank after power disconnect.Additionally, there is no way to adjust the output/working pressure. I was hoping to adjust to about 25 PSI but on my brand new tank the working PSI was around 48-50. Much too high.I am returning this for a similar product from a better manufacturer. The price is double, but I am hoping it solves my problems.

I have to admit, this regulator is rock solid in build quality and performance for the price. One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon.

Been using for a couple months with no issues!

This is my second fzone big gauge regulator -very easy to set up-5 minutes and its running. The needle valve operates smoothly even at slow bubble rates and my plants are happy in my 29gal tank. Customer service is responsive if you need them. Great value as well. Way to go Fzone!
