BOX USA B481212 Long Corrugated Boxes, 48"L x 12"W x 12"H, Kraft (Pack of 10)

I bought these boxes because I need to ship out skateboards and didn't want to spend a fortune on boxes. I found these here on Amazon. I can see why they are so well priced. The boxes seem thin and not very sturdy. I feel like I need to reinforce the insides somehow just to make sure they get to their destination. That defeats the purpose of buying less expensive boxes. Once I reinforce and get these ready to ship I will have spent as much as simply paying for the higher priced boxes at Uline. Actually the prices at Uline are great but the shipping to get the boxes costs more than the boxes themselves.

I bought these because it's literally impossible to find boxes that are cheap enough, large enough and would ship fast anywhere, for an individual move to another state. I was desperately trying to find a box that would fit my piano and my bookshelf (disassembled). What I did was to basically combine two boxes to make one longer and for another package, combine them to make it wider. The boxes are kind of thin but what can you expect? Since 10 came in I didn't mind using them up to make the walls stronger. Would not recommend to use them by themselves, also FedEx treated them badly so the torn parts at the corner were mainly because of the rough treatment. My piano and stuff survived the move well. Would recommend if you're in a hurry to find cheap boxes.

These boxes are rated to 65 lbs, but there is no way they could hold that much without failing. They are flimsy and lightweight. Maybe you could pack them with three or four down pillows, or maybe some hats, but do not buy them if you want to pack 10 pounds of goods. The side walls bend as you try to fold the flaps. I had to reinforce each packed box with additional cardboard and baby them all the way to the truck. Not worth the money.

Thin boxes that don’t hold up to any significant amount of weight in them. Nothing can be stacked on them as they just collapse

Very good IDF size box but extremely poor quality! A box this size should be medium-heavy duty, but it’s very weak and flimsy! Also more than half the boxes arrived damaged with the inner core exposed along the edges.

These boxes work well at their stated size; however, I have found that if I need to shorten length to save on shipping, it a little ingenuity, I can ship items without purchasing boxes for shorter length items. Very sturdy! I have purchased these same boxes more than 2 times.

Boxes came looking like like they were run over by a truck. Simply wrapped in one or two layers of plastc wrap for protection. Why can't a "Box" company send bowes in a box? A few areas on boxes were just paper and flimsy.I am using them to build a cat house/fort. Hoping for sharp crisp edges.

Boxes arrived with two in bundle badly damaged but they were as described otherwise.
