This is an awesome minnow bucket by far the best thing you should buy it's awesome for summer or winter I used it ice fishing all the time I have minnows currently in there from Two and a Half weeks ago change the water out every other day keep the bubbler going feed them goldfish food keep them forever not literally

I just received this product which arrived on time (Thank You Amazon Prime!), but the hinged lid (which is said to be included, according to the description) is missing.I need the bait bucket to transport 100+ live rainbow trout fingerlings from my classroom on a school bus to the lake where we will be releasing them. Those trout will all end up dead on the floor of the school bus if I have to transport them without the lid.I sure hope that this gets rectified, and the company that is shipping these items takes care to rush the lid to me before our field trip next week!

Poor quality. Especially for the price paid. Pump is very loud and it stopped working within 20 minutes. Opened it up and it was full of water. No, I didn't expose it to water if you are thinking that. It was in my garage at 38 degrees. Totally wrecked. The handle is flimsy and attached poorly to the bucket. Shame on me for thinking a 29 dollar bait bucket might be decent. Never again. Not worth the hassle to send it back. Buyer Beware.

I was skeptical about buying this bait bucket but glad I made this purchase worked right out of the box no flaws or gimmicks. It is not very quiet but won't matter being on a pier.

I don't know what qualifies for "quiet", but the pump that came with this bucket seems a bit noisy. My main concern is disturbing other anglers while I'm fishing for herring off the pier to use as bait (later) for salmon fishing. I like the quality of the construction for the bucket, and the air pump itself.

Does this item work, yes. Is it quiet, absolutely not! Especially when you consider that they chose to add quiet to the products name! Spend a little extra for a Frabill aerator which is truly quiet!

Works awesome. Aerator uses a single D cell battery. I keep a couple of extra in my tackle bag but haven't had to switch the battery out yet. It kept 2 dozen bait shrimp and a half dozen finger mullets alive all day while we were shore fishing this past weekend. From the bait shop to the fishing spot was about 30 mins, then another 4 hours of shore fishing and 45 min drive back home. D battery was still going strong so it doesn't just rip through batteries. All in all I'm really happy with it and the Aerator switches over to my other smaller bait buckets no problem. Recommended.

great product, I use regularly, one d battery from the dollar store last 20 hours, easy to change battery, lid stays on in transit, would buy again, I use for live shrimp
