High Quality, Works As Advertised
Works as advertised!Durable materials and construction.Loosen the set screw, shove as much of the cable as you can down the drain, leave 3-4 inches sticking out (too much flexes and bends), tighten the set screw, rotate the drum while aggressively shoving more cable into the drain, loosen set screw and repeat the entire process and simply no more cable will go into the drain.Keep rotating the drum while aggressively shoving and working the cable around as much as you can for a minute, the keep rotating the drum as you pull it back out.Don’t be surprised if you need to wrestle it a bit to remove.*ALL drain snakes work as aboveI did exactly as above and my tub was draining like new about 15 minutes after the package arrived!

Had to call a plumber in the end
It would have been nice if this came with some instructions. I worked this snake in the drain pipe after removing the P-Trap for about 30 minutes and was only able to extract small bits of debris from my clogged drain. I ended up calling a plumber who was able to unclog it with their snake within 45 minutes. He said it wasn't anything terribly unusual, in terms of the clog itself.

Arrived late and broken
It also arrived later than it was supposed to, which is really frustrating when you're dealing with a clogged drain. When it finally arrived, it didn't work -- at all. Don't waste your time with this product.It was not shipped in a box, just a manila envelope so it's not surprising that the hard plastic drum that holds the snake was cracked. When I turned the wheel nothing happened -- it didn't spool or unspool. There's no levers or latches to engage/disengage. The snake didn't come out at all, regardless of whether the screw was tightened. The snake would only come out of the drum if I loosened the nut and pulled it out by hand. Clearly it's either broken from the crack in the plastic, or the design is flawed. There's no way this auger would force a snake down any drain.

Tedious! Hate the screw design.
There is a thumb-screw that holds the snake in place. I hate this design. I would happily spend extra cash to find a better design that secures the snake. Obviously, you have to reset the thumb-screw every few inches so if you're going a few feet you really start to get fatigued. I hate admitting it and it sounds ridiculous but true nonetheless...

Don’t waste your money.
Would give it a 0 if I could. It was complete waste of my money. Had to go to home depot to buy a real snake. The plumber who I had to end up calling laughed at it and said “where did you get this toy from?” This snake wouldn’t even go down the drain it would curl up and the other snake from Home Depot not only went down the drain but also cleared up the clog. Don’t waste your time the red handle didn’t even turn to extend or retrace it the wire. What a joke.

Piece of Junk
This item arrived broken, waste of money and time. The turn handle on item turned but the snake part didn't do anything. No instructions on the package either. Returning for a refund.

Look at the spring
The spring is not designed properly to actually grab stuff. Tried over and over to get the clog out of shower drain...just pulls out insignificant stuff but won't grab what needs to get out. Useless.

Great product for a great price
We have been struggling with drain clogging in our shower. My husband finally got tired of buying draino and decided to buy this product. He was very impressed at how well it worked and how easy it was to use!

Get what you pay for
This isn't an example of a good deal; it's an example of getting what you pay for.The main plumbing snake is thinner than expected (I'm not sure it would have the strength to push through a blockage). The plastic housing is more of the "cheap toy" than "tool" variety. The snake only works as you use an external screw to tighten onto the snake before cranking/turning the snake. Also, the actual snake can come all the way out of the housing if you push it out too far.In addition, the gripper that came with it - in our case - came broken in two different places. This is reflective of the craftsmanship of the whole set.

Sturdy Drain Snake
I get frequent blocks in my bathtub and to resolve that problem I bought this tool. Although there is no instruction manual comes with package all the details in the sellers page.Package comes with gloves and sole additional claws to remove hair clogs.Its very easy to handle and drain snake is in adequate length to go in to most distal parts of my drainage system. Snake is made-up of sturdy material that advertised to be non corosive . It resolved my drain block within half and hour and I am very happy about this product.

The small plastic yellow piece works magic
The media could not be loaded. My favourite piece was the simple yellow plastic. I was shocked how much hair and dust it pulled out on first try. I have spent a fair bit of money on solutions that unclog but haven’t had much success. I decided to try something mechanical. I wish I had taken a picture of what I pulled out but it stink bad and I tossed it out right the way.The claw will be hand to grab objects that dropped into toilet or sewer. I had dropped my car keys before and it costed $300 to replace from the dealer.The bigger drain snake is for when a clog of toilet paper or bigger object is stuck. Hopefully I don’t have to ever use it but I have it as a tool now

Amazing
This Product is amazing.I am owner of Restaurant. I have fountain drink machine which often get clogged because of sugary syrup. Few times I called plumber who charged me $50 for snack charge + $80 Labour. I also tried rental Snack which is little cheaper but still $50 rental charge. I saw this product on amazon and price is just $26.99 so I bought it to try. I was so glad that it worked very well . I probably would save about couple hundreds dollars an years by using this plumbing snack.This product is also arrived 2 days earlier.There are also couple of extra tools Comes with it which I haven’t used it .My opinion is you can’t go wrong with this product and price.

Highly recommend watching a youtube tutorial before using this.
I've tried to use a plunger and gel to unclog my drain before getting this, but nothing worked. I was a bit nervous because I had never used one of these before, but I watched a short youtube video to learn how to use it properly and was able to get it working in under 5 minutes, which is great since I'm usually not very skilled when it comes to manual tasks. I got rid of the junk that was clogging my drain, so I'm definitely satisfied!
