The dog likes it!
The most important thing about this brush is the dog likes being brushed with it. I guess the bristles are not too firm and feel good on her skin. She also likes being brushed with a Kong Zoom Groom (a rubber brush) too. This brush fits in my hand well too and it's comfortable for me to hold. It's a little hard to clean the soft short undercoat out of the bristles, but that's a minor complaint. Overall, I'm glad I got it.

Good Scary handle- less design for but Not Soft for cat owners
Important Note to Cat owners. A cat’s skin is way more sensitive than a dog’s skin and require a different brush. Unfortunately, most pet supplies companies advertise products as multi use for dog and cat to maximize profit.I love the handle-less my cats and old dog that’s partially blind get scared of brush handles. Handles are bulky and hard to handle and maneuver around a smaller animals features like a cat or dog. I ordered this brush thinking it would be soft as the description read 50% Boar 50% Synthetic Nylon bristles. I was disappointed to find out the bristles were Too stiff and rough for my cats. The design and handling is great. The knuckle palm style handling is excellent for a more intimate brush that more closely mimics hand petting. In summary, I think would be a good brush to use for a dog especially when bathing.

Decent
Using for a lab puppy and it's fine. Doesn't remove alot of dead hair so I cannot speak on cleaning the brush. It's more to get dirt and debris off after playing outside, and helping distribute oils in coat. Dog seems to like it.

Overall great product
I have a short-haired dog and up until a few months ago, I thought my dog hated brushing because whenever I would go to brush her with the wire dog brush, she would cower and I always felt bad. I was doing some research and I found that these types of brushes work better for short-haired dogs and now when I brush her, she will lay down for a belly rub.

Soft & It fits well in my medium sized hand.
Just got it yesterday, used it while Gracie’s bath and afterwards during drying time... it does have missing bristles right in the middle, but I’m not sure if that happened during its first use, or if it arrived like that, I hope moister doesn’t get trapped in there I squeezed it just in case ... Gracie likes it though , and let’s me brush her hair because it’s so soft.. her coat feels smooth 😻😽😻

My dog enjoys it
It’s a bit stiffer bristled than I expected, and the bristles are plastic, not boar, but the dog likes it, so she puts up with a good brushing. I have a small dog with a wiry coat, and it does a good job of getting the loose bits off. First one I ordered was an open package, still with some other dog’s fur in the bristles, but when I asked to replace it, it was done quickly without fuss—not a product flaw.

Pretty average
This brush is alright. I tried to use it on my smooth coated boxer/rottie mix and it didn't grab the dead hairs like I hoped - I get more hair off him by petting him with slight pressure. The brush surface is pretty convex, so most of the surface area doesn't actually touch the dog, which could be a part of the problem. This brush is also pretty small. I have average sized hands (I wear a women's large glove or a men's medium) and this brush was a little too small to comfortably fit in my palm as other reviewers have suggested, but I could see how the design would be beneficial to someone with arthritis. Don't buy this if you have a bigger pup - it might be alright for dogs smaller than 40 lbs but I found it pretty useless on my 56 lb dog. It does appear to be well made, and did grab some hairs though, so it could be an okay brush for the right dog and owner. Overall I didn't spend much for it so I'm not that disappointed.

Good brush
Wasn't sure what to get after yrs of a poodle with that thick coat, I adopted a chihuahua who felt bald in comparison. I was afraid I'd hurt him! This curry style brush has lovely bristles he loves the feel of. & after yrs of having a no-shed dog, I had to re-accustom to that. This brush collects & holds the loose hairs nicely

Buena compra precio-calidad

Mostly plastic bristles. Very few boar bristles
Good brush that's on the smaller side and fits nicely in the palm of hand. The bristles are much harder than most other bristle brushs so is best for shorter haired animals. Beware that they are 90% plastic bristles with only a few boar mixed in. That dissapointing but still a good brush for the price.
