Fantastic laptop for daily tasks
Before reading this review please keep in mind that ASUS 2019 Cloudbook E203MA-FD017TS is a laptop for average daily tasks. It is not a high-end gaming or development laptop. I have used this laptop every day for the past month and I am very happy with the performance and quality.Storage: It offers 64Gb of storage out of which almost half is taken by the operating system. But the rest is more than enough for installing additional sw and keeping documents, etc. Internal storage is eMMc which is similar to Flash storage. It is faster than HDD but slower than SSD. I am quite happy with it.Secondary Storage: You can add up to 256GB of secondary storage using a micro sd card which is plenty. If needs be you can install all your software on the secondary storage. I do not recommend this but if pushed I suggest some of less critical programs can be moved to the secondary storage.SW: It comes with Windows 10S installed. I have installed OpenOffice, Firefox and many other sw and they don't take much space. In total I have used less than 2GB of storage for the installed SW.Processor: is Intel Celeron N4000 I have found it more than adequate for daily tasks such as editing, browsing the web, watching YouTube, Netflix and Prime.Screen: The quality is just fantastic one of the best laptop screens that I have seen.Performance: Is very good. One of the issues that I always have with windows desktop or laptops is the speed of reboot and starting from hibernation. On this laptop cold start takes around 7 seconds and starting from a hibernated state takes around 2 seconds. These are exceptional. Please be aware if you start too many programs at the start these times will increase but in my experience not by much.Battery Life: Is very good. I used it for 6 hours non stop and it had used around 75% of a fully charged battery.Look and Feel: Light and nice looking.

ASUS: 14" HD Cloudbook (E406MA)
I got this for my mum who required a laptop that "cheap and cheerful", basically something that she could browse websites with on a decent sized screen and write up documents and this seems to do the job just fine. With 64GB storage (eMMC), there isn't a whole lot of storage space to play around with hence why it's called a Cloudbook; it's more ideal for those who mainly use cloud-based software or services where they can access/edit/save their files online (there are a lot of free services such as Google Drive that offer a decent amount of cloud space) - The lack of internal storage space certainly helps with keeping the costs of this product down. The lack of space doesn't mean you won't be able to download the odd software or even save some files but it just means you are more limited with what you can do. If you want to have space for music/videos on the go without relying on the cloud you can always get yourself a USB flash-drive or external Hard-Drive which you can pick up for a very reasonable price these days. The Operating System that comes pre-installed on this device is Windows 10 and it will go step-by-step to get yourself up and running which is easy to follow with basic knowledge; it does require a Microsoft account however thankfully you can sign up through an existing email from another Company (Google / Gmail as one example), this can be done during the start-up process. I did find Windows 10 a bit cheeky when trying to install Google Chrome as I had to disable "Windows S Mode" before being able too, this mode is apparently for your own safety even though Chrome is widely used browser; it came across as a way to put you off using their competition but at least this was easy enough to switch over...The HD screen looks superb with a nice clear/clean image, be it photos, video or text, so was pleased with the results. The keyboard seemed very responsive and nice to the touch with the touchpad also being just as responsive; I liked that you could scroll up & down the pages by using two fingers at the same time.Other bonuses of this Cloudbook is that it only weighs around 1.3kg and on top the battery lasts up to 14 hours (dependant on use) making this a very ideal for travelling. If you're wanting a simple laptop without the need of internal mass-storage then this Cloudbook may just be the product for you.

A great value-for-money, fast laptop!
I'm so happy with this laptop. First of all I love the design and the light blue version of it which I have, the colour is unique, I love it, stands out from everyone elses! I love that they have a 14 inch screen size option, not all laptop have this! The laptop is also very thin, great design. The keyboard is comfortable to the touch. It is also a fast laptop which was a number one priority for me! It's honestly a great value-for-money laptop. I didn't think I could get something of this value for what it does. It's a great basic laptop for anyone who simply wants to use the internet/ Microsoft etc. The battery life is great!! One downside is that it doesn't have much storage, but I guess there's icloud these days! Also it's not as light as I expected it would be. Still, I think I made a great choice and wouldn't swap it for another.

Great value notebook
Now 5 weeks since purchase, and I thought I would leave a review. My main concerns are 1) portability... so < 1kg is great. 2) long battery life. ...>8hrs is great. If those work anything else is acceptable. 3)price. There are so many expensive devices of all sort of form factors. I don't want to pay £1000 for a phone or a desktop computer or for a laptop.I am an Office 365 home subscriber so having that loaded is a bonus. The experience is great. Quick, does everything I need. Small hard drive no issue as everything is saved in cloud anyway, in my case 1Tb free storage on OneDrive. For browsing, email, spreadsheets, powerpont this is perfect so far.And if disaster round the corner, the amazon experience for returning malfunctioning devices is secondary to none. This gets 5 stars without reservation.
