Crunchy with a great bacon, smoky flavor!
Perfect for salads or even to put on a grilled cheese sandwich. Crunchy, but not so firm they break teeth. Nice bacon and smokey flavor. Definitely recommend.

Great Beacon Bits
I feel this is a great product, has very robust bacon flavor, taste good on salads or with scrambled eggs. I feel this size of jar was great value for the money. I would recommend this product.

Good value, seems to store well
I bought these bacon-flavored bits (they're not actually made of bacon apparently) for use in salads, baked potatoes, and on home made french fries. They are very dry and hard out of the container, but if you're baking them on/in something they will absorb moisture and soften up.This big jug will probably last me a year or more, and considering what a small bottle costs in the store this is a better deal. I wish I could find more products I regularly use in large shelf-stable sizes.

when SHTF, you've got a means to make everything taste better
Nutritious? No. Flavorful? Yes!Big container of Bacon flavor for the apocalypse. Gotta have seasonings, sauces, condiments and other flavorings to make durable food products taste different and interesting, especially if its the same base food day after day. I dont often use bacon bits, but they sure pack a punch in flavor and really dont need much to make it work. Sprinkle some over a salad, over potatoes, add a little bacony flavor to sauces, soups, beans, etc. Add it to some simple biscuits. Cheap way to really change up the flavor profile of nearly anything. Sure real bacon is great, but I find imitation bacon to be appealing too.Not going to go bad any time soon. If concerned, then break this down into mylar bags.

Just what you'd expect--but cheaper.
Gone are the days when a certain brand of "bacon chips" vs. "bacon bits" really tasted much more like bacon, or so I seem to remember. Today's bits are more salt and smoke than anything else. I think this brand has a "bacon pieces" variation that has more of the original texture and taste. These smaller bits. not so much. But when you are craving that bacon smoke and crunch on a salad, they hit the spot. And you just can't be buying 4 oz tiny bottles in the supermarket salad aisle at the rate I would like to use these in salads, on soups. I don't like them on baked potatoes, but my family does; one meal with just 2 of these foods could wipe out a small supermarket bottle. It was give them up, or go industrial-sized! So I will no doubt be returning as long as the price is right.

This is my salad dressing.
I have a salad nearly every day with dinner. Since I don't like the liquid forms of dressing, this gives me a taste that I like. While I normally get smaller sizes at the grocery store, when the store ran out for a while, I found this larger size on Amazon and used it to refill smaller jars.

Adding bacon like flavor to dishes.
Good, alternative to actual bacon, plant-based has a delicious crunch, two soups, potato salad, and salads in general. Will buy you again.

I didn't know I needed three and a half pounds of bacon bits BUT IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE
Holy cow! Or...pig?Or...actually, soybean, I guess? No animals were harmed in the making of these amazingly delicious "bacon" bits. If you want to add the taste of bacon, you should use bacon. Seriously. But if you're okay with a smoky and bacon-like taste that's crunchy and salty and kinda nummy on your salads and super convenient to keep on hand? Order this baby, because it will fill the bill, for a good long while. BUT THAT IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!WHY? Because when the super-heavy-duty container -- I am not kidding, this puppy is STURDY and it has changed my life! I've ordered this item twice already, JUST TO GET THE CONTAINER.Because when it's empty, you can re-use it to store all kinds of things as long as you don't mind the contents taking on a smoky-bacony kind of scent, because the smell permeates the plastic and it ain't coming out. So, maybe use it for screws or nuts & bolts? Think hardware storage, not food storage. But maybe you're into bacon scented sugar? Hey, go for it!
