That wild and crazy guy, Steve Martin, makes his film-starring debut in the wacky comedy hit The Jerk. Steve portrays Navin Johnson, adopted son of a poor black sharecropper family, whose crazy inventions lead him from rags to riches and right back to rags. Along the way, he's smitten with a lady motorcycle racer, survives a series of screwball attacks by a deranged killer, becomes a millionaire by inventing the "Opti-grab" handle for glasses—and shows why he's one of the hottest comic performers in the world.Bonus Content:Learn How to Play "Tonight You Belong to Me"The Lost Filmstrips of Father Carlos Las Vegas de CordovaTheatrical TrailerProduction Notes Review: I just love this silly movie! - I've been such a fan of Steve Martin since the 70's when he hosted Saturday Night Live. I've never grew tired of watching his movies & TV. Even saw him in concert (early 80's) in Los Angeles with The Blues Brothers as his opening act. WOW, it was great! His first movie "The Jerk" had him doing what he did best . . .crack-up silliness & fun. There was no one like him and that still holds. ONE OF A KIND! If you like his earlier comedy then you will be so glad to see him then. DVD was delivered on time and the disk played perfectly. Review: Classic comedy - The Jerk is just an all-around classic comedy back when everyone still had a sense of humor. LOL. This DVD copy was of good quality, and a good deal since you can't seem to find this movie in brick and mortar stores anymore.

Hilarious movie, a Steve Martin classic. Miles better and funnier than the "Father of the Bride" crap movies Steve did in later years. No comparison.
