Great for our three rescue dogs. The old plastic bucket was high maintenance to keep clean by scrubbing every few days. After putting this outside for two weeks of various weather conditions this bucket is easy to maintain. Just fill and use. Not need to clean the pale itself. Just change the water if leaves , bugs, dust or whatever fall into it and fill with fresh water. A time saver!

I specifically bought this bucket because the description says it holds 4 gallons, my cow milks beteen 2 and a half and 2 and 2/3rds gallons at a time, I wanted the extra room so not to slosh milk out of the top.First let's start with the very good qualities of this bucket: it's stainless, nicely polished and and has no dings or dents so it will be rust resistant. It is very well made, nice looking, the handle functions perfectly and is attached well and strong, the bucket would likely last a long time as a milking pail.Now with the why I gave it 4 stars: I am not sure what standard of measurement was used for this bucket, but it's does not hold 4 US gallons. Pictures show that I poured about 2 and 1/2 gallons of milk out of the bucket and into my jars. After I saw how much 2 and a half gallons filled the bucket I used a half gallon jar to fill it with water and this bucket only holds 3 gallons of water, and to get 3 gallons in it the water had to be at the very top.

I use it in my outdoor kitchen for disposal from cleanup of my stainless griddle. It is extremely sturdy and has a very smooth surface making it very easy to clean periodically.

This is great. The dogs can't chew it like they do the plastic buckets
